    Need more up to date appliances. The ones we have are extremely old and hardly works from time to time. Instead of trying to repair them it would be best to have new ones. The refrigerator is beyond repair and at least 30 years old. The drawers and handles are constantly falling apart but never fixed or replaced. The stove burners are lopsided and three of the hardly works from time to time. We have never been late and been here since 2019. The bathroom needs to be updated as well. The carpets ...
    need to be removed all together and provided with actual wood panels. The fake wood stuff constantly ripping. Lastly, I was never reimbursed for the damage that maintenance caused to my dryer, curtain and the blinds they broke when fixing the dryer vent issue. The even messed up the carpet which left stains and mess.

    Even though I am in an renovated apartment I love it. I have been here since 2017. I would love to have the original carpets cleaned but the place is fairly spacious, comfortable, and great water pressure! The place is quiet and safe and in spite of being surrounded by heavy Chesapeake traffic, the complex is quiet and the traffic unobtrusive. Even with the occasional ambulance at Chesapeake General there is not a lot of noise or sirens. The well planned layout and the amount of green space ...
    really help with that. I think the place is one of the nicest around - adequate lighting, good clean up around the apartments, and not overwhelming huge or jammed up parking lots. Assigned spaces with guest spaces as well make a huge difference. Final thing, the Chesapeake school district has bus service go into in the complex. Much safer than kids crossing in front of opposing traffic. Worth taking a look if you are looking for a nice place to live.

    The place is so different with the current management - things repaired, the landscaping looks beautiful, and the maintenance people do a great job. It is a safe place and a quiet, lovely community.

    I love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere provided at Renew Apartments. The grounds are well kept and I enjoy walking along the lake and seeing the beautiful ambience of nature!
