Ok for a starter
December 27, 2019First apartment we ever leased and we got a good price for it. We can deal with the old appliances and no AC during the summer but as of lately we’ve been having toilet problems. Everytime we flush the toilet, it comes up in the tub. This has happened twice this week. The plumber came and fixed it so naturally I thought the problem was gone. Next day we hear weird noises from toilet and see water rising in the tub. It’s filled with dust and dog hair coming from upstairs apartment. We try to ...contact property manager by phone no answer + voicemail box is always full. Finally got a hold of her and said she’d send someone down. Heard the plumber working in upstairs unit but never made it to my apartment. Now I’m stuck with this problem for another day and we can’t use shower at all. This is our first apartment and we haven’t tried to be difficult but this is just basic human rights. We’re paying rent so you’d think that our toilet and shower would be working properly and it’s not. Management is all screwed up here. One property manager is trying to manage 3 different complexes at the same time and you can tell her plate is too much for her to handleRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Old Apartments
October 12, 2018These are old apartments with lots of issues. Think twice before you sign the lease.Review from Apartments.com
be aware
August 2, 2018You think it’s nice area, you sign the lease. Until you get your utilities bill next month, it’s including water(laundry room, swimming pool), public sewer, public trash.... be aware, it’s gonna be a large bill, paying the bill that you don’t responsible for! Apartment complex is old, lots of things don’t work right, cracks on the public walking area, don’t tip over. Management won’t try to solve or help if there’s a problem. I live downstairs, they change all upstairs wooden floor, it’s very ...loud no matter what they do. Usually a wise person will know that second floor should be in carpet?!?! Horrible
August 1, 2018Large utilities bill, around $200/month, shared with other tenants. Super old apartment complex that don’t have separate meter. Heater don’t work for the bedroom at all, wooden floor for second floor, loud noise when just walking barefoot.Review from Apartments.com
Horribly small apartments with 60 year old appliances.
January 17, 2016Overpriced. WAY overpriced. Shared utilities with everyone in 45 unit complex, no individual PGandE meters. Pay about $140 every month (even if you're not there for a month) for electricity and gas, garbage, and maintenance. Pool is cracked and pool area badly stained. The pool runs 12 hours a day adding to electricity. Garbage area is filled with old mattresses, even though tenants pay for garbage removal (and everything else). Old carpets—some 15 years old— yet others have new laminate wood ...floors (cheap looking). Appliances are from the 50s, old, beat up and run down. Tiny kitchen, and I mean tiny. Laundry room consists of 4 washers, and 5 dryers, of which 2 washers, and 4 dryers don't work. $2.00 for a load of laundry, $1.00 for drying (depending on the dryer). The bathrooms are small, and appliances outdated. Windows barely work. Mold, mildew, and hard water stains are just a few things to note. Busy body neighbors, and increased rent with no improvements is why we left. Some people have 7 member families living in a 1 bedroom apt. It's insane. Parking lot is small, and over crowded with people working on their cars, and management and help parking in any spot they please. It was not renovated in Jan 2007, they just put up barriers on the balconies. It does NOT have High Speed Internet Access. It does NOT have Air Conditioning (except for 2 units that add to the already outrageous electricity). In the summer apartments are unbearable. People sleep on the balcony. The heater doesn't heat the bedroom. It is DEFINITELY NOT wheelchair accessible. Balcony screen doors need replacing, because they're very old. Do NOT rent from these guys. When it was $1,050 a month it was bearable. Now that it's $1,725 a month, you need your head examined by a professional to rent here. ;)Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
