September 10, 2015Great management, very responsive to problems, and very personable. The amenities are reasonable for the area and the price which is also good for this area. Only real issues I have are from the fact that I'm in an older building in the complex. The noise dampening could be better, and the air conditioning is likely older than I am.Review from Apartments.com
Pretty grounds, nice people, needs improvements
August 30, 2015Nice area, very responsive staff, fun monthly promotions! Lots of nature on the Riverwood side, to enjoy, making it feel peaceful despite being so close to hwy 100. We even see deer sometimes! Rent is just ok for the old buildings ($870 last year), but they redid the leasing center and gym so hopefully more updates are coming! Update - Just noticed the rents listed on this page for where I live are waaay higher than I had been paying...hope that's not what's coming! Eeep! Not worth the new prices
August 30, 2015Wonderful area; great floor plans (all corner units). Had been happy for years, but they just started jacking up the prices ($120 more/month!). They can't fix the main issues in Riverwood to justify that (old construction means poor insulation, big bugs, sagging floors, mildew inside and out, and unvented garages that mold your stuff and help speed car rust). Even if they could fix the structure, we shouldn't pay more to live through all the construction. They just redid the office, but ...that's only awesome if you're a worker or live on the treadmill. Great Sister Apartments to Rivershire
August 26, 2015The Riverwood apartments are in a great quiet area on the border of West Allis and Greenfield. Close to Highway 100 and the freeway making it easy to go anywhere. All of the neighbors have been great, you hardly ever know they're there. The staff really cares about the tenants, completing work orders very quickly. The workout room / clubhouse was just renovated this Spring and has several treadmills and a few new weight machines. The pool is nice but I didn't end up using it too often.
