      I've been here for a couple of months and am not happy. Management and maintenance are nice but that doesn't mean they will solve any issues. This place is old and suffers for it. Windows are 35 years old. Ants are all over the place. There is a strange odor that gets in the ventilation and you smell it in the evenings. When I moved in the apartment was filthy. The hallways so badly need to be cleaned and they haven't done that at all. Maintenance takes their time fixing anything. You never know ...
      when they will come. I sometimes have to contact them 2-3 times to get them over here.

      I am a new tenant here and I was impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the leasing mgmr Nancy. I had a few concerns that needed to be addressed immediately and she did not hesitate to inform the maintenance personnel about. Nancy ensured to me that things would be taken care of and it does appear that they are in a expeditious manner by the staff. She certainly appears to take her job seriously and places herself in the shoes of the tenants. Thus far I've also had a chance to see ...

      Take note of fake reviews!!! We lived here for 2 years. New company came in and fired everybody. Forced fees on you that no one wanted. Would get an email saying, “We have heard your requests” and say everyone keeps asking for these new things they want to charge for. But no one asked for them!! Valet trash is aweful. You have to keep your garbage can inside or they don’t you. They only pick it up for 2 hours, what if I am always at work at that time I have to pay for a service that I ...
      can’t use. When we got our renewal letter it was $200 more than what’s it showed on apartments.com. When I asked about it they told me the website hadn’t updated yet. A $200 increase Then to make everything worse when we moved we took pictures of everything! They still charged us for so many miscellaneous charges. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They will get money from you any way they can! Horrible experience!

      Extremely nasty attitudes in the new management- I agree with the previous poster, STEER CLEAR!! I asked about my water heater since it wasn't as hot as it used to be and the snotty women in the office ganged up on me and suggested I must've turned it up too hot and it burnt out the element! It's a 15year old water heater- says so right on the inspection sticker.... Have spoken to other neighbors and they've expressed similar "turn it back around on me" type encounters with them.       management is renovating the property and talks a big game about it - they definitely have an agenda for benefit to their company, but it doesn't include treating their tenants like decent people. They also seem to have added extra "services" little by little (and made them mandatory) since they've taken over and thereby added new service fees for each on a monthly basis, which weren't in the lease.       My husband and I were residents of this community prior to the new management's regime. We were happy to call Hidden Harbor our home. We have since purchased a new home and moved out of this community. We followed all of the rules of our lease, paid the early termination fees up front and have had nothing but headaches from this new management team. They did not read the details of the $2836.00 check that we gave them and now are upset so they have sent us to collections for something they have ...

      This past week a car overshot parking and crashed into our AC units outside building, knocking out the AC in our apartments. The property had brought over and hooked up a portable AC before I got home that night!! The next day I had 4 updates on the progress and a promise that there would be more portables that day if the repairs couldn't be completed. Sure enough, there were-amazing service and communication. I'm seriously impressed.

      I lived at hidden harbor for about a year and 5 months and since starting my first year living in the apartment we had mold problems. They come and clean it then spray paint over it at first they admitted it was from a leak in pipes when the mold started in my master bedroom and now the new management is claiming it’s from the thermostat being ONE digit below what they recommend I’ve spoke to a mold specialist and they informed me that the thermostat has nothing to do with mold development! They ...
      even said it was from lack of housekeeping, I’m not dirty they even offer take off their shoes at my door because of how clean my apartment is! Still today I have mold not only in the master bedroom but in every single room in the apartment! Mold has even formed on my Steve Madden heels and my Jordan’s (fury mold) me and my spouse sneezing and have runny noses trying to shower. HIDDEN HARBOR is not a healthy place to live and they are money hungry people who will charge you to move even if you have mold growing all in your apartment. They will make up any excuse to try to patch up all the problems in the property, WE ARE NOT THE ONLY TENANTS DEALING WITH MOLD! The old thing nice about this community is the people and the square footage in the rooms that’s ALL. They are going to be sued for the mold problems!

Our records do indicate that you submitted a report of apparent mold growth in more than one location of your apartment home. Our team responded immediately, conducted an air test and found the humidity levels inside your apartment to be above average. High levels of humidity provides a welcoming environment for mold to grow. Cooler winter weather can play a role in higher humidity levels as the cold outdoor air meets the warmer inside air. Our team provided you with instructions for adjusting the thermostat to help control the inside temperature which in turn will help control the level of humidity in the apartment home. Our team did cut into the wall in order to inspect the interiors and found no visible issues or moisture behind the walls. Therefore, it was determined that the growth was present only on the surface of the wall as a result of the ...
        humidity. The steps our team took to address your concerns were guided by the property?s National Environmental Manager and in accordance with industry standards. Regarding the bathroom area, it was determined that this was a result of not cleaning the shower and tub effectively on a consistent basis. Our team was able to clean and remove the mildew for you during their visit without issue. Lastly, when you reported to us that you were not satisfied with the results of our inspection and repairs, we hired a third party environmental consultant to inspect the apartment home for you but you refused entry. This vendor is trained and certified in industrial hygiene and will be able to provide the best solution in the event that there is truly an air quality issue.
