    Require 3x net income of monthly rent. Apartment was for a senior citizen who has substantial savings but does not qualify as on a retirement income. Ridiculous and ignorant.

  • DO NOT LIVE ON THE GROUND FLOOR

    Savannah Trace Apartments is nothing to write home about especially if you happen to live on the ground floor. This is because the walls and the roofs of the apartments were not insulated. You can literally hear everything the person living above you does from flushing the toilet to them walking or taking a shower. The bedrooms are so cold during winter; you can't sleep even if you increase the heat. Trust me, if you must rent an apartment with Savannah Trace, "DO NOT LIVE ON THE GROUND FLOOR," ...
    else, you will see yourself moving out right after your first lease expires. When I called their office to complain about the noise I hear from my neighbor who lives right above me (all because the roof wasn't properly insulated), all they could tell me was that there was nothing they could do to insulate the roof any further since the apartments were built in the 50's, so now I'm moving out in 2 months time when my lease expires. It's definitely not worth it living in an apartment where you are disturbed with the activities (noise) that goes on in your neighbors apartment, all because the walls and the roofs weren't properly insulated. If you are fortunate to get an apartment on the second floor, I would advise you to take it because you definitely do not want to experience what it's like living on the ground floor and hearing all the noise from the apartment right above you. Aside from these negative things I mentioned, their services is good and they always ensure that the environment is kept clean at all times.

  • Great place to live!

    I have lived in this complex in a Plantation unit for 3 years now in and love it. No issues with maintenance. The pool is great, and the gym and common areas are clean. The hallways in the buildings are kept clean. I am not looking forward to moving out, but due to new policies, it's a must after my lease ends. Noise from above neighbors is my only complaint. Floors are not very thick.

    I am in bed again waken up by my neighbors. This apartment has HORRIBLE insulation, if any. I’m in the master bedroom and I hear our neighbors television blaring. Every time someone goes in/ out of the apartment, you can hear it. We’ve lived in many apartments and yes you expect to hear some things. But this is unreal. We’re woken up during our sleep to neighbors above walking to and fro, their child thumping everywhere. We’ve spoken to management and they were not helpful. Gave us an option to ...
    move to another apartment at a higher rate and new contract which would extend our stay here. Bottom line. They REALLY need to provide better insulation. We’ve spoken to our neighbors above, with no real improvement. We’ve spoken to another neighbor who also shares that their walls are paper thin. Don’t be fooled by the updates in the apartment. The insulation is horrible. I cannot wait till we move out.

    Be aware of this community. They are excellent till you move in. All Dramatic story will come into play once you give the notice to move out . After my move out in 2 days my apartment got inspected and they mentioned to me there are little marks in the stove top that needs replacement and changed me $200 I paid that amount and also my lease breaking amount 2 months rent cleared all the outstanding amount on time. All settlements are done. After 8 days they called me again and asked me to pay ...
    $2000 as there is stains on the counter top that needs replacement. When I mentioned when the inspection was made earlier why this issue was not noticed, the answer was as you stayed in the apartment whatever we will found and whenever we will found that will be charged to you. if you are not paying then we will send it for collection. Wrote to the management no response from them. Leasing office people mentioned no discussion if we took a photo means its your mistake. My suggestion avoid this apartment in all circumstances.

    Just moved out today. My best day in 15 months since I moved in. Had both cars towed away in the first month because we were not given parking stickers upon move in. Then had to deal with 6 months of construction after half of the building burnt down. Charged late payment fee when their payment website was down and payment was 3 hours late. Charged a smoking fee and asked for evidence which was never received. Disputed the smoking fee and again charged a late payment fee on the disputed smoking ...
    fee. The Office Staff is only out to charge you as much as they can with no reason. Can never contact them by phone and takes days to get email response. The only saving grace is Rich, the Service Manager. Very nice guy and the only person in the entire support group that understands customer satisfaction and dealing with customers/tenants. I would not recommend living here unless you love to be frustrated every time there is any kind of issue.

    I chose this place because of all of the amenities and the layout. Love the washer/dryer in unit, central air, the big balcony, and all of the natural light (lots of windows since you don't share many walls). The buildings are smaller so you have more privacy, and the grounds are kept very nice. I don't see myself leaving any time soon. The only cons were that they end up adding things onto the rent. There's no street parking, but you're required to pay $10/month to use their lot even though you ...
    don't get a reserved space without paying more. You also pay water, trash and sewer, which most complexes cover. So just plan to pay another $45/month on top of what's posted for a two bedroom.

    apartments look nice, they charge for everything even parking stickers for lot that doesn't require them, but as the lease goes on into summer there are bugs everywhere we all of a "sudden" got bed bugs sprayed down everything with Raid threw out the mattress box spring and near by furniture, told the main office took them 2 days to send maintenance over guy just looked at the floor with flashlight no more than 5 mins said couldn't see anything, they then sent over their pest control guy who did ...
    the same thing told us we should have kept the infested mattress and box spring, very next morning found a live bed bug on the same floor where they were looking, captured bug told office again and its been over 2 days no word on when they are doing something about it. They now are saying that since we treated the area and removed mattress that we could have infested apartment building, So I guess they don't want you to do anything and wait 2-3 days until they decide to show up. Very disappointing can not wait to move out.
