The bathroom cabinet space is huge and there is are two large hallway closets along with a pantry. There is an air conditioner unit in the wall under the front living room window. It cools the living and dining rooms well but doesn't really reach the kitchen through the narrow doorway or down the long hallway to the bedrooms in the back. Rent is very affordable at $675/month and includes water, heat, and gas. Tenant pays electric. This is a good, inexpensive place to live if you are saving up to buy a house, going to school, or looking for a slightly bigger apartment after graduation. Right off of downtown DeKalb, this apartment is also a short walk or bus ride from NIU and is close to the bus stop on 2nd and Locust.
