Good location, but has some flaws.
September 15, 2020Pros: Great location. Support staff works hard to maintain the grounds. Neighbors are respectful. Storage unit in garage is helpful. Feel safe (except when bikes get stolen) Cons: - They raise the rent every year. Even when there is a pandemic going on!!! - If you live in the alley way where 401 and 407 meet, you will hear everything (and lots of gross things). Since there is no AC you are forced between leaving the windows open or closing and sweating. - Every apartment has different ...furnishings (some have laminate flooring on the walls.....) Do not believe these pictures. The courtyards do not even look like that anymore. - SMALL kitchen and the sink backs up black sludge from time to time. -You have to keep your bike in your apartment or it might get stolen. If management could put a bike rack in the courtyard where it is lit up at night. This would be a huge perk. - No one uses the courtyard because it is awkward and everyone faces in and looks or listens. When there were trees at least it was more homey feeling. I wish this part of the community was more vibrant.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very unfortunate
May 28, 2020This complex used to be a great place to live. Great community, older military housing so the facility wasn’t nice but the price was modest and the building manager helped anyway she could. Unfortunately that manager got sick and a new manager (vanessa I believe) that runs a complex down the street took over. She never would spend time at Seabeeeze but would send threatening emails about noise complaints in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend. Construction crews adding solar panels would ...open holes in the roof and flood units in the winter and leave ladders up overnight in the walkways but the new manager didn’t take action. Flooding in the parking structure from a sewage leak but no action taken. Then there were fleas in the carports that face the street and the exterminator said it was likely due to them being trapped by the flooded sewage. Multiple units reported the fleas and the manager didn’t report the problem till a few days after. Thankfully the original manager recovered and is back but it seems that the ownership group is putting more pressure on her to follow the lead of the incompetent substitute. Focus on control of people instead of making seabreeze a great place to live. I wouldn’t recommend moving in here unless it was back before 2018. Much better options in the Rivera area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Living made easy
August 21, 2015I don't know what more to say about my complex besides I love it! From the moment my boyfriend and I took a tour we knew it had to be ours! The manager, Robin is always available and lives on site. Being from another state we had to rush into finding a place, this is the best deal if you want to live by the beach. It's cat friendly but wished they allowed dogs. Such a great small complex in a safe area of LA county. You even get garage parking, which I hear is hard to come by.Review from Apartments.com
