DO NOT RENT
August 20, 2023Neighbors bathroom flooded due to “water not turning off”. Maintenance “fixed” it but for some reason didn’t check the basement and it flooded my entire storage unit. They barely showed any care for the matter and the guy who I spoke to said he would tell them to stop running their water and never saw him or heard from him yet. The entire time I was cleaning the storage and doing damage control, the tenant above ran their water over and over again. This is after raising rent as well.Review from Apartments.com
Great home for us for 7 years
April 29, 2021Wonderful privacy, but always available service by a family like team. Always helpful and kind. Great managers and service folks, miss them all. Great walking - 2 mile circle tour without ever leaving the protected property. Gate person always at entrance. Met some really nice new friends and got friends to move in. Great water views from tower or only a short walk from any apartment. Had to leave after 7 years family situation...would go back in a wink.Review from Apartments.com
Owner
March 4, 2019I have lived there 7 years. No air or heat in halls. Windows are the worst and are original.Snow comes into halls from windows. Original everything. Paint falling off of walls, carpeting filthy and old. Elevators don’t work all the time. Not enough help. Rent to high for the shape everything is in. Owner doesn’t seem to care as he pockets all the money. He is rude.Review from Apartments.com
COULD BE a nice place to live, but...
November 5, 2017I moved out a little while ago after living here for 4ish years. When they take you on a tour of the place, you'll probably be shown a gym (where half the equipment is broken/disassembled), a pool (which is closed 9 months out of the year and the lights don't work in it), a marina (with docks actually collapsing into the water), and finally your apartment, where you will be told nothing about the fact that it costs a small fortune in electricity to keep a 2bd,2ba apartment at ~64 degrees all ...winter (in the tower anyways). The common areas aren't air conditioned in the summer and actually get upwards of 90 degrees, and this heats your apartment up so be prepared to have your A/C running full blast 24/7. Look, it's great location from a commute perspective, the view is great (though you'll be looking at it through dirty windows), the apartment itself isn't half bad (though the buildings are dated), and the security staff is FANTASTIC and is a joy to come home to. The office staff is nice as well but after a while, you just get tired of the excuses. The owner is a cheapskate is what all of it boils down to. The parking garage for the longest time was in horrid shape, and the only time they finally paid to repair it was when large chunks of concrete literally started to fall and smash on the ground. If he invested some money into updating the property and hiring additional maintenance people, he could probably pull an extra $500/mo per unit for the tower, and the marina would be full. Until then, hope you don't get stuck in the elevator.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
So happy!
January 6, 2017We moved here in June of 2016 and I can't say enough about Shore Club! Its a quiet complex, with super friendly staff and neighbors. The lawn is manicured twice a week, the snow is plowed as quickly as it comes down and I always get compliments about how beautiful the drive up Shore Club Drive is because of the beautiful trees (not to mention its a 2 minute walk right to the water!!). I live in 1 bedroom garden apartment with a patio and it comes with a storage area downstairs that is huge! Its ...the size of my living room! In the garden apartments, heat and water is included, and my electric bill is always reasonable! The apartment is spacious, guests always remark how big the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are for a one bedroom apartment. And the building itself gets cleaned every week. I honestly feel like Shore Club is such a great deal and we have gotten so lucky to find them! I have absolutely no complaints!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
