Enjoying my time here
October 27, 2022Have lived in many different complexes & this place is great. My 2bed/1.5 bath townhouse is HUGE (& the price is a steal). AC upstairs & downstairs. Cute little back patio. Always many parking spaces available. Friendly neighbors, quiet & safe. Plus they allow pets & have w/d in unit (hard to find in Rhode Island!). Management is great too & the maintenance guys are awesome! Great location near to Mineral Springs/146 (but no loud traffic). I will be renewing my lease!Property Manager Responded

Happy Place
October 15, 2022I love living here the inside is clean all kind of closet and kitchen cardboard space. My bathroom is squeaky clean. It’s quiet in a nice neighborhood. I can’t wait to use the pool in the Summer.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT LIVE HERE
November 10, 2021I moved in here last year and dealt with an extremely noisy neighbor for my entire time. I complained to Andrew the manager and his only response was “call the police.” There were also drug deals in the parking lot almost every day. It got so bad I had to leave, to which they then tried to charge me thousands of dollars in fees. They do not care about their tenants. STAY FAR AWAY.Property Manager Responded

September 21, 2020We have enjoyed being residents at Shorewood. It is well-managed and staff are responsive and friendly. The neighborhood is family-friendly and pleasant. The location (which backs onto a wooded area) is quiet and quite pretty. It is well-maintained and our unit is nicely laid out with good storage. Current Tenant Review
December 10, 2019Me and my Boyfriend are getting ready to renew our lease. We love the property our issues get resolved in a timely manner and the area is nice and quiet. My daughters love the pool in the summertime. The only downfall is that when the office is claimed as opened and I go in to pay my rent No one's there and it's always closed. Now they are opened by appt only but never sent a notice to the tenants so we are more mindfulProperty Manager Responded

We are available 7 days a week and a lot of times we are out giving tours, out on the property completing safety inspections, etcetera. If you want to sit down and talk about anything please feel free give us a call so we can make an appointment and sit down to discuss anything that is going on. There are multiple ways to pay rent. We have an online portal so you can pay with a credit card or even have the rent automatically withdrawn from your checking account every month. If you are paying by check, we have a rent drop box right by the office door. Our goal is to always provide the best service to our residents and we are pleased that you are very satisfied with living here!

Great community, nice staff!
November 25, 2019My wife and children have lived in a townhouse for 4 years now. We really like the community. Good location and price. The office staff, Angy and Jannette are always very helpful compared to previous staff. They help us very much. The property manager Kyle is very easy to speak with and solves issues that we’ve had. He is very personable and professional. The maintenance staff responds immediately to our requests and fixes the issues. The only issue we have is the flow of water to our townhouse. ...The company recently hired a water conservation company to change shower heads and faucets. Although water is included it is almost impossible to shower. The response from management is that they will most likely switch all shower heads back. Poor management
August 22, 2019Property management is an embarrassment! It's one problem after another, but it is never their fault. If you have a complaint they will go out of their way to blame you or the other tenants around you. The most irresponsible property managers I've ever seenProperty Manager Responded

Nice Place
May 28, 2018My boyfriend and I moved in a few months ago. We live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse. After looking at about 10 properties we went with Shorewood because of a few reasons. The location is nice and quite. We walked around and met a few people before moving in and everyone seemed to be happy with the property. The property manager helped us with a few things after moving in and had our issues corrected right away. The only downfall is they no longer accept dogs but there are dogs on the ...property so it's a tease. Hopefully in the future they'll change it back to a pet friendly community..Property Manager Responded

Moving in the right direction!
March 30, 2018My fiancé and I are renewing our lease for the 4th year. The first few years we put up with a lot of nonsense. When we first moved in, the new management company DFI, purchased the property. There seemed to be a disconnect between previous managers and their corporate office in Boston. The girls in the office would always take a few days to get back to us. It was always a waiting process. Work requests would take days if not weeks. Checks were lost constantly, and the staff didn’t seem to care ...much. The people in the corporate office seem to be a little greedy and are just in it for the money. Long story short, we went to bring in our renewal letter to the office last week to notify them that we were moving out and found there was a new manager. He seemed to be genuinely concerned why we weren’t staying. First reason was the insain increase in rent. Secondly we had issues in our apartment that haven’t been address in a year. Every spring we would have ants around the slider and no one ever came. Then a few other little things here and there that were neglected. He took the time to come over to our apartment and document and take pictures of the issues. Maintenance was there within an hour and fixed the problems. He had a pest control agent there the next day to spray. Then set up a follow up meeting to make sure everything was resolved and up to our standards. Honestly we had no intentions of staying but we were blown away by the service that was provided. Moving forward I know we will be happy here and are excited to stay another year. New to community
March 20, 2018Just moved to the states. The manager found us a very nice sunny 2bhk. Very clean and maintained. We were approved in a few hour and had the lease to sign. Neighbors are very nice. Very quite back here. Thank you Shorewood and staff.Property Manager Responded

So far so good!
March 5, 2018My daughter and grandson moved into a townhouse last month. She was relocating for a new job and I was very nervous as a grandmother and mother. The property manager was very easy to talk to and made this transition very easy. He assured me that they will be taken care of and that Shorewood is a quiet and safe community. At move in he did a thorough lease review and inspection of the apartment. The apartment was painted, new carpets were installed, and it was very clean. After moving in my ...daughter noticed a small leak under the dishwasher and that the garbage disposal wasn't working correctly. My daughter said he had the maintenance staff over within 15 minutes and both were fixed. So far my daughter is very satisfied and I can relax knowing they're happy and safe in there new home.Property Manager Responded

Long Term Resident
February 26, 2018My husband and I have lived here for 3 years now. We just resigned for another year and don't plan on moving in the future. Convenient access to 95 and 295 which make our commute to work much easier. The last time we needed maintenance was when our washer stopped working. They were very pleasant to deal with and took care of the problem that day. We just met the new property manager (seems to be a new face every time we go in) and he assured us that he is here to stay. The only complaint is ...the weather but that's out of his hands :)..
