June 25, 2020South Park is a secure building. The new management has made an effort to make needed amenities, such as a washing machine and clearly marked parking lot, available to the residents. The repair person sent out was efficient, professional and respectful. Clearly capable and scheduled repairs to other repairs in the building by proximity. Making him very efficient in his time management.Review from Apartments.com

Just right
August 30, 2015This apartment is perfect for me. It has one very spacious bedroom and a balcony that opens up the rest of the apartment and let's in tons of natural light. It's close to my campus allowing me to bike to class to save on gas, get some exercise and help the environment. Its a little secluded so aside from city buses, it's a relatively quiet place to live. And it's close to a discounted movie theater, a 24 hour grocery store, a gas station and a subway. Everything I need is only a short walk away!Review from Apartments.com
South Park 1 at Griffin Court by Goldmark - Decent at Best, Unpleasant at Worst
August 9, 2015I moved into Griffin Court's South Park 1 building a few months ago. Upon inspection, the unit was very clean, but there were several repairs that needed to be done. I've acquired a fairly solid understanding of what the overall quality of life in this building is like. I'll be breaking it down into a few sections. -My individual Apartment- Upon move in, the leasing specialist that made rounds with me made a list of everything that needed to be repaired worked on; the most important to me was ...fixing the screen door to the balcony which didn't close and had holes in the screen. There were many other functional and cosmetic repairs that were also added to her list, and she said that they should be in "soon" to start working on these. The utilities in each apartment are very dated. The stove and refrigerator are a few decades old and my fridge/freezer has trouble regulating temperature. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal included in the units, which was a major disappointment. The bathroom was fine upon move in, but I got a call at the end of July saying that my bathroom was going to be completely renovated. The tub, shower head, shower walls, flooring, vanity, and mirror were all replaced and updated, which was a very nice surprise. -The Management- A few days ago, I decided to follow up on my maintenance requests, since summer is basically over and none of my repair requests have been addressed. I figured this must have been a busy time for them, but apparently nothing was submitted because this was the first they had heard of this, which made me very frustrated. I am happy that the managers have always given me at least 24-72 hours notice when they worked on the bathroom. -The Building- I'm going to be blunt: I hate everything else about this building. All of my neighbors are extremely loud and let their children run, scream, stomp, and even BANG ON MY WALLS every day almost all day from around 8:30am to 11:30 at night. There are even unsupervised kids running up and down the halls shouting. The building is filthy with junk mail and other garbage littering the halls, and other tenants frequently vandalize parts of the building, such as breaking the secured doors. These are by far the most inconsiderate and worst mannered neighbors I've ever had. The fact that there are unrequested renovations being done seems promising, but until the awful conditions of the building are addressed, I cannot give a positive review.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
