  • Leasing office is unprofessional

    The leasing office literally never answers their phone or emails. My roommates and I have been given conflicting information and it's incredibly hard to determine which information is correct.

  • Going downhill fast

    Only been here a few months and I regret it everyday. Need lady luck to shine on me so I can break the lease. The property staff are a joke and don't care about residents. You can't find a contact method of the property company to send complaints too. Even BBB doesn't have a listing for them. This place may have been luxury 20 years ago, but not anymore.

    Spotswood commons is a beautiful property with wonderful amenities. Large living spaces equipped with washer and dryer and it’s a beautiful place to just walk around. The walk in closets are a plus. They even throw community event that’s are catered with great food and it promotes an inclusive environment. Amy and Ashley will make the move in process very smooth, and they are the sweetest women I’ve ever met. They are very approachable and they will resolve any issue to the best of their ability. ...

    I Liked this place so much I picked it twice First when I relocated to the area second when I sold my home in Fords Colony. The staff is very attentive to your requests and truly care about the residents. The maintenance staff is exceptional any issue that may need repair is normally addressed the same day. This is a gated complex that is so convenient to everything. Colonial Williamsburg is minutes away, great restaurants and shopping within a 4 mile radius. Great place to call home!

    I lived here from June 2016 until this month, when I had to move for a new job. I would have happily stayed here forever. I loved my apartment. It was beautiful, safe, and quiet. The staff here are caring and attentive. Maintenance requests are always addressed promptly, and I had very few problems beyond routine care. I never had any problem parking near my apartment, and the complex is very generous with visitor parking passes, if you need one. The amenities are well-kept, and the complex is ...

    There's a reason it is so difficult to get a unit here - it is truly one of the best apartment communities in the Williamsburg area! From the second you call to learn more about Spotswood Commons, to the second you sign your lease agreement, you are treated with respect, kindness, and such warmth from the wonderful management team.     from a former resident who was looking to move BACK to Spotswood Commons since they were returning to the Williamsburg area. I think that speaks volumes! During my tour of a one bedroom unit, I was blown away by how clean and perfectly maintained the unit, building, and grounds were. They really take pride in making sure that the community is well taken care of. Maintenance is always available, the amenities are fantastic, and the price (especially for what you get!) is such a great value. Their community is also wonderfully dog friendly with a beautifully landscaped "bark park" and tons of grassy areas throughout the neighborhood for nice long walks. I have nothing but the best to say about this community. I'm sad at the thought that I will ever have to leave if/when I move out of Williamsburg!

    My wife, 2 year old and myself stayed at Spotswood from July of 15 till April of 16. This complex is 5 min. from anything you could ever want to be close to. My wife is currently paralyzed, not only did they add additional handicap parking, they put in front loader W/D as well as replaced the back buttons on the stove with buttons on the front. The managers are over the top friendly and welcoming. I never had a complaint that went unresolved. We only left due to our house being completed. ...

    I absolutely LOVE living at Spotswood Commons. It is beautiful, full grown trees add so much character. The gym and clubhouse are always very clean and well taken care of. We use the gym multiple times a week and everything is always in place and working perfectly. The grounds are well kept. We have a small dog and love taking walks every night after dinner around the complex. It's peaceful, quiet and a safe neighborhood. The pool area is gorgeous with comfy chairs and umbrellas.     built-in bbq pit that we use all the time. The staff and maintenance are wonderful, always prompt and I have only had to utilize them once. The apartments are very well taken care of. It feels brand new when you move in and I have lived on a third floor and a first floor here. They are both spectacular. The lay outs are wonderful, they really allow you to use the space you have. The carpets are clean, the walls are freshly painted, the kitchen is kept up, new countertops, the lighting is all new, the bathrooms are clean, washer and dryer are included in every laundry room of each apartment and they are great. The apartments smell clean and fresh and all of the appliances work properly. The exception is that there is not a built-in microwave, so you will need to have your own. There is built-in storage and a nice size patio/balcony. There is always ample parking. I love living here. Even when my husband is away on duty, he is military, I feel safe and secure in this complex. We have lived here for 2 years and will be here for one more before we are relocated. We will be lucky to find another place we like this much when we move again. I will always remember living at Spotswoods.
