  • Great apartments, if you don't mind lots of neighbor noise.

    My apartment was clean, well laid out, and had all of the features I needed. Aside from some minor hiccups shortly after move-in, it was wonderfully low-maintenance. The location is great, with Target and a bunch of other businesses within easy walking distance. The staff was (mostly) great to work with. This would have been an easy five-star review, except... ...when the buildings were constructed, they didn't put any sound dampening between the units. I frequently heard neighbors' ...
    conversations, yapping dogs, and on numerous occasions throbbing bass (occasionally with people shouting over the music) for hours on end. Despite there being a noise clause in the lease, management seems to side with residents who are throwing loud parties over ones who just want a bit of peace and quiet in their homes. Their only suggestion was to call the Sheriff's office if I found the noise intolerable. (Note: I've lived in numerous apartment buildings over the years, and I've never heard neighbors nearly as frequently or as clearly as I did at Springs at Posner Park. At any other property anywhere near that price point, I've had zero issues with neighbor noise. This property is a *clear* outlier in my experience.) Personally, I found the noise to be such a reduction in quality of life that it is easily a three-star deduction. I would recommend Springs at Posner Park to you if and only if you're perfectly fine with prominent neighbor noise in your apartment at all hours. It would be a great place for someone who doesn't mind the noise. But if you want the option of having a quiet night in, you're probably better off looking elsewhere.
