ROACHES, BED BUGS.
May 8, 2023there’s an infestation of roaches and bed bugs everywhere. even in the lobby you’ll find roaches walking around. the roaches would hide behind my fridge and it was so bad there was an ODOR. they don’t do anything and exterminators come once a month even if you request to have it sorted out. i would get bit every night even heat treatments and sprays did not help at all. management sucks, stay away if you like a piece of mind!!! 0 starsReview from Apartments.com

Tried to tour the apartment; landlord was rude and a no-show

June 23, 2019This was my first place in LA and reading the other review 3 years later, I’ve realized nothing has changed. We were sold by the newly renovated apartment, but quickly realized that’s as good as it gets. The manager is hardly in his office or on the property for that matter. He’s not very helpful and the tenants pretty much get to do whatever they want because “they do not listen to him”. We pretty much see at least one roach every day. The manager doesn’t notify every unit when there’s work ...going on in the building that is disruptive. His way of notification is a written piece of paper that he posts outside the elevator that not everyone uses. The fitness center has missing weights and overall does not have proper ventilation. It’s just not a well kept building. However, there are good days where roaches and disruptive tenants are not a problem. It’s a good location for the price and it does have central AC. Parking on the street is available more often than not. Fortunately, I’ve never had any issues with break ins in the garage, but I have seen a busted window.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
The Money Pit
July 27, 2015This apartment feels a bit like the movie, The Money Pit, at times. It looks like a great value before you move in. And then you start discovering roaches, leaks, and a landlord who appears friendly and helpful on the surface, but really is just interested in doing the bare minimum and has a way of making you feel bad for asking for the simplest repairs. And when things finally do get fixed, it's often a band-aid on what appears to be a much larger problem. Or they replace a fixture with one ...that's crooked and doesn't match and call it a day. Roaches and water leaks coming from all kinds of interesting places have continued to be an issue, although after multiple sprayings and bombings, the roaches seem to have moved elsewhere. For now. As for security, there is a gated parking garage with security cameras, but there are occasionally break-ins. After this happens they will sometimes hire a security guard or two to patrol at night. I've personally never had a problem. I give this three stars because it's actually a great place when things aren't going wrong. And if you've seen The Money Pit, you know that they eventually come to love it. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. And if you're fortunate to get a unit that doesn't have these problems from the get-go, it's a decent deal. If you tend to drive all over the LA area on a regular basis like I do, it's the most convenient location I've lived in out of 8 different apartments in LA.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
