Looking for a new place
November 10, 2017When I moved my elderly and disabled mother in law into South park Apts I felt comfortable and at ease. The manager at the time was named Lisa. She was very kind and took time to answer questions. She even checked on my mom from time to time and picked up her rent every month because she can't drive. This month it took 4 trips during to catch some one in the office even though I went during their business hours. Brian, the manager was very rude telling me my rent as late. Well, I've been trying ...to pay but the office is never open. I told him that our property manager always pick up the rent. He told me that's why she's no longer there. Since when is it wrong to go out of your way for your customer? He wasn't professional and in made me feel like I was bothering him. He told me that the office being closed is no excuse for late rent and that I would have to pay late fees in the future. It was never late before because the manager cared about her residents. I guess that's not important to this company. We're looking for somewhere else to take my mom. It IS important to us that someone cared about her. Apartments are rundown anyway. Awful Manager
November 2, 2017Do not live here!! There used to be one employee you could count on but she is no longer here. They are never in the office. The guy who manages is awful and rude. Brian (the mgr) never returns calls or emails. He says he will do something and never does. He does not care about the property or the people living here. Stay away!! Southpark Apartments
September 18, 2017Apartments are in amazing location. My son can walk to class. They offer free off street parking which saved us a fortune this year. I do wish they had dishwashers but apartments are well kept, the grounds are clean and you absolutely cannot beat the location or the staff. Lisa is the manager and was so sweet. She is professional, knowledgeable and genuinely cares. She took time to answer all of our questions. She showed the apartment to my son and then again when I was in town. September 4, 2017I have been searching all over Columbia for the perfect fit for my unborn child and I. I have had a hard time finding places that actually seem interested in renting to you. Other places that I went to around town would just hand me an application, give me their normal schpeal about the application fee and send me on my way without offer any kind of help. The day I talked to Lisa Baker at Stadium Apartments was the day I was talking to someone I knew cared about my wants and needs and also ...wanted me as a tenant. From day one, she was so warm and friendly, she answered every question I had and made the whole application and move in process so easy I don't think I worried about it one time. She literally took care of everything, all the way up to meeting me to pick up the application fee and the check for me to move in. She goes WAY above and beyond the requirements of her job. She even went as far as to stop by and ask me if everything was okay and when I told her about a very minor problem with my sink, Maintenance was literally knocking on my door less than a day later fixing it. She genuinely cares about her tenants and she is hands down the best landlord I have ever had. If you're looking for a quiet place, that is kept up very nicely, is family friendly, that goes above and beyond for you and is very centrally located; look no further than Stadium Apartments!
