  • Frustrating Experience with Management at Sygnii Apartments

    While the apartment itself is lovely, the management's lack of responsiveness has made my stay increasingly frustrating. Despite numerous attempts to resolve various issues, such as problems with the windows and an ant infestation, I have had to constantly follow up with no results. Even after my first experience of this I had made a comment that I hope this was not indicative of what was to come. Alas, my efforts to address these concerns have been met with delays and vague responses. The ...
    nonresponse from the initial management team prompted me to escalate the issue to upper management, which was surprisingly difficult to navigate. After finally determining the right person to contact, I was assured that I would be contacted by the appropriate individual on or by Thursday. I understand that everyone can get busy and that there may be more pressing matters, so I followed up the following Monday to check on the status. My initial email was sent to them on July 29th. On August 6th, I received an email indicating that someone would ‘likely’ reach out to me on the 8th. When that never happened, I reached out once more. This time, I received an apology for the delay and was scheduled for a phone call to discuss my concerns—concerns which had already been detailed in emails and a previous phone call. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, the call that they scheduled, never happened. What’s especially frustrating is that this is where I live. My home is very important to me, and I expect it to be a peaceful and well-maintained space. As a renter, I feel very vulnerable, with little leverage to address these issues effectively. I can only imagine how much they might raise my rent when my lease is up, adding another layer of concern to an already stressful situation. I want to emphasize that I am not one to leave negative reviews lightly. I prefer to address issues directly with management. However, the ongoing lack of responsiveness and follow-through has left me feeling completely disregarded as a tenant. Given the persistent issues with communication and resolution, I cannot recommend Sygnii Apartments based on my current experience. I hope this review prompts management to address these problems urgently and restore some level of confidence in their tenant services as I’ve noticed every review gets a response to contact management directly. I have done this in spades.

  • Look Elsewhere and Save Money

    I would recommend living elsewhere. I am actively looking for somewhere else. Getting ahold of the management team is hard in itself. A lot of times, even during weekdays, they have some answering service that can really only take a message for the actual management team. Like another reviewer, I've been having issues with an upstairs neighbor and the amount of noise they make. Also spilling stuff into our patio. Management asked for video proof if possible which I provided over a month and a ...
    half of evidence. After providing that and not hearing back, i was required to reach out to them multiple times before them telling me "to keep providing more content" with really no end in sight. I doubt they were ever contacted because the constant banging and shaking of my apartment has continued since. Leaving me with the only option to contact security which I doubt ever results in anything. Residents constantly leave trash bags around the ground of the trash areas, even when there's plenty of space in the dumpsters. Which then leaves it to the maintenance crew to clean up. This is apart from the dog poop that is EVERYWHERE. They could benefit from more waste stations but I doubt the people that live here would even be considerate enough to use them. Parking can be an issue as others have stated when residents park in two spaces. I had recently reached out to management to acquire a spot and the conversation died out after two emails (I shouldn't have to nag you so I can spend money). They recently sent out a mass email stating they would be "cracking down" on people leaving trash, smoking on the property and parking incorrectly. Well if you don't even have enough staff to answer a phone, reply to an email or keep the office open, who is supposedly going to be tracking down these offenders? It’s just a bunch of weak talk. Do yourself a favor and save some Money. I would say the only bright spot is the maintenance crew. They are friendly and reliable when a notice is submitted.

    It' expensive, no amenities during covid. Sometimes the energy bill is very expensive. (The yes energy bill with water sewer gas)
