Terrible
May 16, 2023Too expensive for such a poor looking place. You do not get what you pay for. Stay away. They increase the rent 200 more per year. The laundry facility is broken down and don't work. You have to walk 30 ft to throw trash out. Trashy ppl live here as well. Loud and inconsiderate neighbors. No assigned parking. Please look elsewhere.Review from Apartments.com
STAY AWAY
May 10, 2023The actual people that live here are wonderful.!!! However, In just 10 months of being here I was told my rent increased up 30 % , Yes 300.00 dollars A MONTH.!! The place is falling apart/ The coin washer and dryers appear to be from 1972 and 85 % of them do not work or you go to use them and find out they are broke after your pay , clothes are saturated or after 5 dollars still not dry. The POOL is broke for Months. It is a shame because it is a nice community of people here, and we should not ...have to live like this. There should be LAWS!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Trashy
November 17, 2021The ads say "renovated" apartments. Mine was not, neither were at least half of them on the property. Neverthelesss, my rent was increased by 28% upon third renewal after increases of 10% on previous.renewal For that price, I had no difficulty finding much better closer to my workplace. Management removed 2 dumpsters recently to save on cost. As a result, residents now dump their trash in the parking lot only 30 feet away from my front door to save themselves some walking to the dumpster, which ...overflows and is located at 200 yards. Tens of abandoned Walmart carts are stacked up in front of property. Papers, plastic bags and empty bottles are scattered all over the lawn. There is hardly any grass on the ground. I planted and watered my own in front of my patio to have a decent view. The landscaping team keeps spraying it with herbicide, probably in an attempt to save on mowing cost. Residents store their junk in front of their doorstep. Some front entrances look like junk yards. Drying clothes hang on the patios and balconies, My appliances were so rusted that I had to buy my own fridge. I spent the first year with an infestation of cockroaches until I took the matters in my own hands and extensively sprayed at my own cost inside the walls. Residents are friendly on the whole, except for my upstairs neighbor. When my AC broke, it was replaced very quickly. Same with my shower head. Maintenance is quick. Management is responsive. But, it's a poor place, cheap and trashy, With a nice view but not all apartments have it..Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Tenant at Tarponwood Lake Apts.
August 30, 2019Hi Everybody, My name is Janet, I've been renting here at Tarponwood lake for almost three years. We have a wonderful manager named Gladiola. I give her an A plus rating because she works very hard to help all the tenants with any and all issues. She is the best property manager I ever had in all the 38 years that I've been renting. So if you want a good experience with renting call her at the office.Review from Apartments.com
