February 1, 2025I’ve been living at The Abbot Apartments for quite some time now, and I can honestly say my experience has been disappointing, especially when it comes to communication. I’ve been trying to reach Alyssa, the property manager, for over three months. Despite leaving multiple messages with the friendly staff who answer the phone, I have not received a single return call or email. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating, and it’s hard to understand how a business can operate this way, ...especially when we, the residents, are paying the bills. Other tenants have also had similar experiences, with some still waiting to hear back after months of trying to get in touch with management. It’s incredibly frustrating to be living in a place where management seems so disconnected from the people they’re supposed to serve. The lack of communication is unacceptable, and it really leaves you feeling like your concerns don’t matter. If you're looking for a place where management actually responds to their tenants, this is not it. I really hope they can address this issue soon, but for now, it’s been a very disappointing experience. January 23, 2025I absolutely love living at the Abbot! The location is top tier! This football season we got to tailgate on the rooftop and actually see the score board from the stadium- it was insane!!Property Manager Responded

October 20, 2024I love living at the Abbot. This is my first year and I renewed my lease for next year as well. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and the building community is kind and respectful of quiet hours. Lastly the location is great because it is on Grand River.Property Manager Responded

August 31, 2024Amenities never work. Hot tub is broken every fall and is closed most of the year anyways. Gym never has proper cleaning equipment which is a health hazard. Their massage bed has been closed for months saying it is just temporary. On top of that I have been in my unit for over a year with the promise of our floors being redone. We moved in to our floors ripped apart being held together with scotch tape. After asking maintenance every time we see them, there has still not been any word on when we ...will get these fixed.Property Manager Responded

August 28, 2024I love having amenities like the steam room and hot tub, although they’re often closed or broken. Maintenance is always very fast and helpful. It was very difficult for me to find the after-hours support number when I needed help.Property Manager Responded
