August 1, 2015To whom it may concern , I moved to the Alms when I became homeless in the year 2002. To me the apartment was ran down and unclean but with a lot of cleaning to the place I made it my home for all these years. Even now it still need some improving. I have cracks in my toilet. I fight bugs every day because of no screens in the windows. The kitchen cabinets need replacing because of ware and tear and roach infestation. A Stepping Stone
July 28, 2015The apartment building I live in is located in Cincinnati Ohio. The area I reside in is Walnut hills. The apartment building is located on William Howard Taft and Victory Parkway. I am surrounded by many fast food restaurants, gas stations, hair salons, grocery companies, banks, etc. About a mile away from me, is a park known as Eden Park. Eden park has a beautiful scenery that borders Ohio and Kentucky, along the Ohio river. Now for the not so good news. I am currently renting and pay 25.00 a ...month. Living under low income housing is not the best but its a start to living. The building has all types on insects from gnats to rats. There are all types of age groups in this building. The management is under construction. Two months ago the building was managed by a man that imbezzled millions of dollars, but don't quote me on that, and now it is managed by a woman, that would like her tenants to help her "clean up" this building. I am very blessed to have a roof over my head because it could be worse. I recently got hired at a company and plan to move.
