    My apartment is not what I was told it would look like except the kitchen cabinets. Showing a model home and getting something different is insane. The building is run down in aesthetics. For example the walls by the elevator are all dirty and marked up. The stairwell is so dirty where no one has painted the walls for years. Hallway carpets all stained. Garbage room walls and chutes all look run down. No “speed sign” in the garage so cars drive so fast where a driver almost hit myself and my dog ...
    getting to the dog park. Apt doors are painted after use. There’s so much more as well. Overpriced for a complex who’s embarrassing to invite guests because how unaesthetic it presents itself !

      Hi Natacha, it's unfortunate to hear this feedback. The model apartment is what we show our prospective residents when other floorplans are not available for showing. Our Leasing Professional explained all the apartment features during your tour as well, as we have both renovated and unrenovated apartments. We have done an abundance of community enhancements over the past few years, including painting the hallways and shampooing carpets. Unfortunately, the upkeep on these areas is difficult to maintain with the heavy traffic we experience. Our janitorial team is consistently maintaining the common areas and shampooing carpets that have excessive dog urine stains, as much as possible. We plan to repaint/clean the trash rooms in 2025 as well. Please feel free to contact management directly to discuss any concerns further. Thank you and Happy Holidays

    I give the community 5 stars due to the great staff of the leasing office and maintenance staff. The apartment/townhouses would be a 4 rating as there are areas that could be improved, such as the carpet, would absolutely love and need a bigger pool. The pool is too small especially when the adults are trying to enjoy the pool among the numerous children present. Overall the pool is too small to accommodate the amount of residents.

    The community and apartments seem nice at a glance but these apartments are far from luxury even though the rent prices are pretty high. All materials and fixtures used are very cheap and fall apart and breakdown frequently. The maintenance team cannot keep up with all the issues of the apartments and repairs are painfully slow. The apartments are also poorly insulated and electricity bill is always high. The street adjacent to the building, Nordhoff place is rather quiet on the weekends but ...
    during the weekdays, there is surprisingly high traffic including large trucks. If you work remotely, it will drive you insane if you have an apartment that face Nordhoff. I really hate living here and cannot wait to move out.

I spoke with my Service Supervisor for more clarity here, and he mentioned that we replaced your washing machine with a brand new one. The only other work orders we received were regarding a smoke detector battery to be replaced as well as a stain on your ceiling, which was due to the new washer machine (this was not due to poor installation). Our team tended to this repair immediately and they are scheduling the ceiling repair with you. As mentioned, if there are any other issues that we are unaware of, please contact management directly at 201-871-8399.

    Great community: overall atmosphere is inclusive and friendly, quiet, yet sociable as there are often events on the grounds, including movies nights during the summer / fall months. A great deal of effort goes into finding ways to support a community experience for all! I stand firm in my statement that this a great community for individuals and more importantly, families.     Peaceful environment. Maintenance is amazing. Any issue I had with my apartment, my online request was quickly managed and fixed within hours. Landscape well kept. Concierge staff very friendly and so accommodating. I needed my package picked up but I was unable to do so because I was working during the concierge hours. I called the concierge and he delivered and left the package at my door.

    The staff are very friendly and I feel like the apartment facilities are well maintained, so I am completely satisfied. One disadvantage is that there are not many outdoor parking lots, so if you arrive late, you have to walk around for a long time to find a place to park.
