Worse place ever!
August 29, 2023Take my advice, don’t move in this place! They tell you if you have any issues to bring it to their attention and they will resolve it or move you. Big fat lie! You have other roommates and even though you move out early and they check your place and tell you everything is ok or you owe on certain things but end up getting a bill for things your roommate did! They tell you one thing and do another! I highly recommend DO NOT MOVE IN THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! You never get to speak to a ...manager alway a student….This place I give a big fat Zero!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Renter Beware
December 29, 2018If you're looking for a place where rental management ignores the tenant who smokes pot, hosts loud parties (where police have been called and pot confiscated), lives like a pig and doesn't pay their utilities or rent, then this is the place for you. Management is horrendous and never responds to repeated issues or concerns from their tenants who do abide by the rules. Do not move here.Property Manager Responded
February 1, 2021We are very sorry to hear that your living experience at The Edge was nothing less than excellent. We do our best to ensure everyone living at our community will abide by the rules and/or has a solid renting history by running every signer through a thorough screening process. In the event that someone within the apartment is breaking the rules or using illegal drugs we must know about it to take any action. I can assure you that ANY complaint/incident with suitable evidence/citation has been handled appropriately. The same goes for noise, trash, parties, smoking, etc. We have a strict no tolerance policy with that and will take action if appropriate. We too do not want anyone on site damaging the units or causing roommate issues by violating their lease. Management would be happy to speak with you regarding your specific situation if you decide you'd like to discuss it further. Contact our office at 419-353-5100.

Not a fan
March 13, 2018I have lived at the edge for a year now and i would not recommend living here if you’re a college student. The WiFi barely works when you’re trying to do homework at night. The sinks are moldy in the bathrooms, the kitchen sink smells like sewage, there’s still dog hair stuck to my walls from the previous tenant. If you’re looking for an enjoyable college experience and looking to actually get assignments done on time and not live in a gross apartment i recommend you live else where.Property Manager Responded
November 5, 2021Thank you for taking time to leave your thoughts. We're very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time here. I'd like to address some of your concerns! To clarify, we do not offer WiFi. We provide the fastest internet in BG, however, you must provide the WiFi router. So, if a low quality router was being used then it could lower your overall speeds and experience. Our move-in instructions gave examples of the routers that we recommend. As for in-apartment conditions during your time living here, we are there day-to-day so if you're allowing mildew to grow or causing odor in your kitchen, we would recommend you cleaning it more frequently. If you were unhappy with any cleanliness at your move-in date we wish you would have notified us as we would have been happy to resend cleaners back to your unit!

Overall great experience
June 8, 2017I lived at the edge for almost 3 years and while I was going to BGSU and I loved it. Obviously if you know people to live with that would be best but Ive had friends that lived with random people and it wasn't bad. The walk to campus isnt too far unless it's negative 10 outside. The security deposit is cheap and you'll get it back as long as you clean up and don't break anything. Only place I've heard of that actually gives you a security deposit back. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who ...wants a lot of extra stuff with their apartment.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Really frustrating end to a lease.
May 24, 2017I lived in the Edge as a junior at BGSU. I kept my apartment extremely tidy and clean throughout the entire year. At the end of my lease when I went to turn in my keys and officially move out, I made sure that my apartment was spotless - bathroom cleaned, bedroom cleaned, etc. Nothing was broken or tampered with in my bedroom/bathroom. However, about a month after moving out, I received a letter concerning my final balance and my security deposit information. I was expecting to receive my full ...deposit of $100 back. However, the Edge management claimed that I had expenses of: $25 for Bedroom Blinds, $20 for Bathroom Cleaning, $17.50 for Cleaning Kitchen/Laundry Room, and $15.00 for Desk Chair Seat Replacement. These charges are unprecedented and absurd. It is obvious that the management team was just trying to rip tenants off one last time, and I am truly disappointed about this end to my lease.Property Manager Responded
April 24, 2018We appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns. We encourage all tenants to reach out to management after they receive their final account statement (showing the charges/refund due). We keep record and proof of ANY and EVERY charge or credit we post on to an account. We take pictures of every single thing we would ever charge to someone's account. We DO NOT post a charge unless we have a justified picture or reasoning for it. Even with the time that has passed since you have moved out, management would be happy to discuss and hopefully clear up any concerns or issues you had. Management can be reached at 419-353-5100.

Best option in BG for sure.
September 8, 2016All around a pretty great place. Lived there for two years and loved it. Has a ton of amenities and the apartments have all be redone and are definitely the nicest in BG. Overall staff is cool and maintenance is quick. Always stuff going on like pool parties and free food. You can't go wrong with living here especially if you use all the stuff like pool, tanning, and hot tub. Shuttle is really nice and new too.Review from Apartments.com
