    There is too much good housing in Starkville for you to settle for the Highlands. I lived here 3 years. Two were decent. A few big problems but nothing to force me to move out, but as soon as I informed them I would be moving out, they made it very clear that they did not care about me any longer. They had blatant disrespect for my privacy. I came home one afternoon to find a for rent sign in my bedroom (something not agreed to in our lease). Do not sign any lease that allows them to not pro-rate ...
    your rent at the end of your lease. They will try to force you out 2/3 of the way through the month while charging you for a full month. Unless you are paying rock bottom prices, find a place in Starkville that is going to treat you much better. Housing is popping up every year. Don't settle for the Highlands.
