Very well maintained
August 30, 2021I am on my 2nd yearly lease. Maintenance is the best I’ve seen in the past 5 yrs of apt living. Office staff friendly and helpful. I have 1br townhome. It’s so affordable considering the location. Easy walk to Zona Rosa. Lots of friendly neighbors. No loudness at night. Maintenance and Office Staff
June 7, 2019I have only been here for about 3 weeks but have had an awesome experience I cannot say enough positive things about the ladies in the office. The maintenance team is great and Gus has went above and beyond. It is so quiet around this area it does not feel like you live in an apartment. The family of ducks and geese that we have seen is just awesome. Great value
March 31, 2018The apartment is quite spacious and a great value for the money when you look at what else is available in the northland. The staff is nice, any time maintenance is called the issue is addressed immediately. And for the record, I have never had a major issue. Usually it was a burnt out light bulb on the lading or something like that. It is a clean, safe and quiet area close to everything. The complex recently upgraded the exterior to all the buildings. I came to Kansas City for work and didn't ...know anything about the city or where to live. I don't think I could have made a better choice. Excellent Apartment, Upscale Living, Everything Friendly: Pets, Children, and Elderly!!!
August 13, 2015The Lakes Apartment is just excellent, starting with the staffs at the office: they're are friendly, very welcoming and helpful. The property is maintained by the Petersons: the grass is cut on weekly and timing basis, flowers are planted depending on season, a bad lightbulb is always replaced consistently. The locations is great, close the KCI airport, Minutes to work to Zona Rosa (Shopping Mall), 5 minutes drive to Walmart and Target, 1/2 a mile to McDonald's and Burger King, 1/2 a mile to ...Elementary/High school, a mile to major hotels and repairs shops like (tire plus, Smart car), a 2 minute walk to Lincoln, Nissan Car dealership. 24/7 routine security, quiet environment, beautiful Lake and a nice view for the BBQ around the property. Great gym (accessible 24/7), three swim pools around the complex. Regular maintainence check of the Furnace. The apartment is all electric, you just pay electric bill (KCPL). Overall, I'm enjoying my stay in the complex, and you can transfer to different floor any time as they have one to three bedrooms apartment.
