About The Lofts at Abigail Vare
The Abigail Vare Lofts have been brought to life! This unique beautiful building was built in 1904 and was once an elementary school to 1,000s of Philadelphians! The school had been closed in 2013 and since then we have had dreams to reopen this historic building to its now home of apartments for the community! Most units boast so much character, like the original chalkboards and extra-large windows! All units include all the high-end features you are looking for - quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryers and so much more! Off-street parking options for an additional monthly fee, and ample street parking in the area. Directly across the street from the beautiful Dickinson Square Park and Playground!
The Lofts at Abigail Vare is located in the Queen Village Pennsport Neighborhood and 19148 Zip code of Philadelphia, PA.

Renters Reviews and Ratings
Overpriced, minimal quality, horrible management (How Properties).
January 5, 2020There are innumerable problems with this building and the individual units. The management's strategy is to blame the tenant for maintenance needs and charge them for it because their contractors didn't handle the renovations properly. Management is unprofessional and indifferent to the needs of the tenants. Just to name a few, the entire first floor constantly smells like garbage due to a poorly constructed internal garbage chute system. The keyless door system is barely functional and ...leaves the doors open and/or unlocked at all hours of the day. The windows were poorly installed and will leak water during rain. The windows also let in a large amount of outside air, causing very high energy bills. It really is a shame because there is certainly a lot of potential for this property to be a great place to live, but it's managed by just another unethical company that only cares about locking you into a lease. For the amount of money they charge, you can find much better options in the area and other parts of the city. Save your money and time, and look elsewhere for comfortable housing.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
WORST Management Company Experience (0/5 Stars)
November 12, 2019HowProperties manages this building, and it has been nothing less than a nightmare working with them. If you like privacy, this company is not for you. On numerous occasions, employees have entered our apartment without notice or a knock. This is incredibly uncomfortable, as you can imagine. Myself, and other neighbors, have had to install security cameras in our units as a result. If you like a company that doesn't respond when you have an issue for over week, then you are in luck, they don't ...care about you once you are locked into a lease. They installed a trash chute without insulating the room where it is collected, so the whole building smells like trash every day. While the complex is beautiful and may strike you as luxury, AVOID unless you are comfortable with a lack of management.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
