  • Difficult, overpriced, and poor property management firm

    I liked in the Mercer in 2014 and moved into a new apartment in the expansion. While the apartment was nice and the community interesting, the property management firm (Greystar) was impossible to deal with. I moved out early due to the fact that I was not pleased with the quality of the service and decided the community was not for me. When I moved out, I paid the bill presented to me and a follow up bill for "cleaning" despite the fact I had only been in the apartment for about three months ...
    and never even used the oven, stove or microwave and basically had only slept in the apartment, almost nothing else. I thought it was a rip off, but I paid the bill and moved on. Then I began working with Greystar and was treated rudely, they actually hung up on me when I asked to speak with a manager and would not return my calls. Finally I looked them up on the BBB website and found Greystar has an F rating, and most of the complaints were similar to mine. Renter beware.....
