  • Very poor management with Birchstone

    I have been here for 34 years I would have been gone 3 years ago if I were not 80 with a health issue.Very poor response on all maintenance requests,no upkeep on grounds,our parking lot light has been out for over three months,we walk to our cars in mud every morning after the sprinklers have turned the bare dirt into mud,great location,Birchstone is cheap.They are only interested in signing you up on a new lease then you are on your own,check and believe the posted reviews.

    I would give zero stars if possible. I have lived in my apartment for 2 years, but will be moving in a month. The property is not maintained. There are constant water issues. For example, there is no hot water today due to a boiler issue. I have had an active water leak for a week. Maintenance closed the maintenance request without ever addressing the problem. When I called the office about the closed request, they lied and said that it was still open. When water leaks are repaired there ...

The management company does not enforce occupancy limits. There are MANY one-bedroom apartments with more than 4 adults. There is dead landscaping that was never removed after the freeze in 2021. People do not pick up after their dogs. There is always trash sitting in front of the dumpsters even when the dumpsters are empty. The maintenance team lacks the skills to adequately maintain the property or make repairs. The office staff tries but are failed by maintenance and the manager

    Pay attention to these negative reviews and do not move here! The management, staff and maintenance are lazy, they make empty promises to get you off the phone or out of the office. There's a tree that fell down on Saddlehorn and is dead and an eyesore that's been there for 6 months. All of the complaints about the water, leaking ceilings and roaches are true, maintenance closes out work orders even though they are incomplete, there's poop everywhere and they refuse to address it.   • Horrible plumbing

    Beautiful Interior and nice area, but plumbing issues every two weeks!!! This is not an exaggeration. I’ve lived here for 6 months and they are CONSTANTLY turning off the water. Sometimes 24-48 hours at a time. I fear for winter. On top of that, pest control issues - cockroaches. I’m leaving as soon as my lease ends!!

  • Its a terrible apartment complex to move into

    Continuous water outages. we were without water for 4 consecutives days labor day weekend. As I write this message today 9/7/2023 there is no hot or cold water all day. They claim water will be back on in half hour its been all day and going. Broken Ac units because its old. Fixes are short lived. The hassle we have to go through to open a ticket since all fixes are short lived its a continuous process. Keep in mind it took them 3 months to fix Ac problem. Management don't care about the ...

    I've lived here for some time now and while some of these reviews do have truth to them, others are very untrue. The water does get shut off at least once a month (but if there are major repairs needed, I get it!) and the landscaping isn't great. The maintenance team does take quite some time to get to my work orders, but when they do get to them they spend a lot of time here, so it make sense if they are doing that in all of the apartments.     DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! RATS RATS RATS RATS!! I complained about having rats in the walls scratching and running around all night. It took over 6 months for them to finally decide to lay down bait boxes. Rats are climbing the railing, getting inside the laundry rooms and eating the garbage. There’s mold in the apartments and maintenance will gaslight you as if you don’t smell it everyday. The foundation is TERRIBLE! My cabinets are seperating from the wall, I have a foot size crack on my floor and ...
    my counter is slanted. Will they fix it? You guessed it NO!!! If you actually care about using the pool, DON’T MOVE HERE! It’s literally never cleaned and there’s visible dirt. Have they cleaned it since 2021? NOOO!!! The gym has had broken machines since I moved in so don’t get your hopes up on getting in a good workout. I’ve complained about the bathroom literally falling apart. The ceiling leaks, chipped paint. The toilet leaks and the tub is completely cracked all over. They fix the problem by spray painting the tub and covering up mold with chaulking. There’s hair from the previous tenant that is painted in my baseboards. These apartments are not worth your hard earned money. There’s newer apartments with actual renovations (not painting the cabinets white and calling it a renovation) Don’t be fooled by the model unit and the location. That’s literally the only Pro is the location. I’m counting down the days until I move out. It’s that bad! There’s a reason so many apartments are available.

    They have roach and rodent infestation. Your maintenance requests takes forever for someone to respond. They keep changing the maintenance people. The outside garden is worst, no maintenance and they don't care upon repeated requests to maintain it. They charge 100$ for the garden which is a joke. They increase the prices more than 12% when renewal. Please don't move.
