Poorly run and uncaring
December 30, 2024I cannot emphasize enough how poorly managed these apartments are. They tried to over charge us on rent for several months until I sent them proof that they were doing it. The laundry room was closed for weeks during the holidays. Also the apartments are not maintained at all. After fighting tooth and nail to get maintenance to look at our plumbing because it was constantly clogging despite all of our efforts, we were finally able to get a professional in. They told us that all of the old pipes ...are basically crumbling and that’s what is causing all of the plumbing issues but that the apartment won’t fix it so we have to just continue putting bandaids on the issue. Ideal First Home
July 10, 2024Went with the furnished unit and it came with EVERYTHING we needed! A couch, TV, unused towels, a Keurig, a rug, lamps, bedding, pots, pans, all dish utensils, etc! Worst place ever
August 29, 2017Since new management company took over place had really gotten bad. There are rats, roaches, snakes and the new property manager Andrew refuses to do anything to fix the problem. They are more worried about the office and the things new prospective tenants might see then people's actual homes. It took over four months to get our air conditioner fixed. Some residents are over charged for water have a/c that barely cool, stairs and balconies that are falling apart.Review from Apartments.com

July 22, 2017I had a rat in my apartment on a Thiesday night. We call the emergency number that night. Andrew tells us someone MAY come Friday to set the trap than he says you being here over a year and this is your first rat as if it's normal! Friday evening I get 2 of my kids (I have 3 small kids) out of the tub and look up and it comes in the living room. I'm terrified. I ran out the house screaming and crying. Office Staff not Customer friendly.
July 3, 2016Office Staff are condescending. Will walk right by you and not acknowledge you at all. Any issues Andrew will put off on you to take care of. To get the simplest thing fixed takes an act of Congress. The only good thing I could say about this place is that they have some good people living here. Good people in a really bad situation. Improving under new management
April 14, 2016The past year or so, since long-time owner Foglemen sold the property has been trying to residents. The first property management company brought in was a disaster. Several months ago the owners brought in a new management company - Drucker. That company now seems to have brought in an entirely new on-site management team. Since the new team has been in place, the buildings, patios and sidewalks have been power washed, the landscaping has been refreshed and construction of a new playground is ...underway. Not a place to call home!
September 16, 2015After being bought out by Carlisle Properties everything has been awful! It took months to even get some semi-permanent staff in place. They no longer offer community events and the pool is disgusting (also ants everywhere there.) The apartments are old and run down and several have serious mold issues as well as roach, rat, and flea issues! With all of these issues the new owners have raised the rent by a few hundred dollars! The maintainance is a huge joke! The worst part yet is that the ...customer service is awful! Use to be REALLY good.
July 30, 2015As Governour's Square, the people in charge their were very friendly and prompt to fix any problems and go out of their way to make sure the problems were permanently fxed, not just a quick fix. Their website always worked as well and you could share certain extents of your account with roommates as well as find out how much you owed when as well as put in quick requests for any kind of maintenance. Now...they are pretty inefficient and have increased costs, their website isn't helpful except ...for people looking to move in. It often takes days for almost any kind of maintenance to be done.
