June 15, 2024I have lived at the retreat for 4 years and the roommates that I got randomly matched with have become my very best friends and family. The staff is so welcoming and helpful! My maintenance man Steven always has a smile on his face and does job well. The amenities have been pretty good too. I enjoy using the 2 story gym when I can, and the pool is nice during the summer. Best place to live near VT
March 7, 2024The Retreat isn't like other apartments in Blacksburg. These are little houses. There's backyards & large grass areas for neighbor games and socializing. The pool is awesome and the sauna & golf are great too. They have a big clubhouse with free coffee & snacks & they office staff are wonderful to talk too. Maintenance is quick to fix anything and I would recommend this place to anyone!Property Manager Responded

The cottages are the best
March 5, 2024I lived in apartments on Patrick Henry last year & I'm glad that me & my roommates moved to the retreat. The cottage feels like home & it's really nice to have a community of neighbors around. The gym is opened 24/7 & I like that I can go get free starbucks in the middle of the night.
