I am deeply disappointed with the management at our apartment complex. On my son's birthday, he was not allowed to enter the swimming pool because he accidentally forgot his entry card in his father's car. Despite knowing us well and that we have been residents for three years, the community manager demanded fifty dollars or the card itself, causing my son to cry on his special day. While rules are important, following your heart and showing humanity is essential for truly successful management. ...

I live here from 3 years and finally i will leave this community soon, I don't recommend this community for anyone unless they change the manager there they don't know anything about loyalty and customer service they need training to be qualified to this job. Good luck everyone to find better community.

I’ve lived at the Luxory Shore for almost 2 years. There are several issues I’ve had but because I’m a local reporter - I like to keep a low profile as much as possible but … it’s time. I moved to Lakeland from California so I was not able to see the apartment before I moved which was ok. I’ve done this many times before but what was not ok is that I wasn’t told that after I paid the application fee, if immediately have to put down a deposit or I’d loose the previous fee. When I explained to ...
management that I was unaware - she said, & I quote “It is what it is.” Because of the position I was in, I needed to continue moving forward and did. You’re asked to pay an additional $30 + dollar fee to have your dog DNA swapped so if you pup poops on the property, they test the poop & you get charged. I actually liked the concept because no one wants to live in a community w/ dog poop everywhere. However, that’s still very much the case. My apartment building is constantly surrounded with dog poop & no accountability for who’s to keep this area looking as it should. Now, what brings me to this post today. Late last night, I locked my car & house keys in the car. I have an extra key to my house & car inside of my apartment. So, I called the apartments after-hour line to let me in because the locksmith to open my car was going to take 4.5 hours. There is a $75 dollar fee to have after-hours come out, which I was already aware of. But, I’d need to get in my house, then go grab that cash because again “I’m locked out of my car & house” at the moment. The maintenance man advised me that I needed to have cash on hand but called management to explain the situation, asking if he could let me in the house and I immediately go grab money. Management said no. If I didn’t have cash on hand, they wouldn’t ups not assist. So, I was stuck outside (in the rain) for 4 hours, waiting on a locksmith. This is not a community. This is more like a pretty resting spot until you find your real community and I say that boldly. As a reporter, my entire job is based on creating community within my county by advocating for people. So, when I run across people that don’t have that same policy in mind - it’s easy to identify. Luxory Shore, I deserved waaaaay better then what I experienced last night and if the owner switches management, eventually - he needs to select a group that represents the county that their working in accurately. Looks are not everything

The property is beautiful but poorly kept. The management team is organized and thorough getting you moved in but then lacks respect, professionalism and over all communication with residents. They do noting to build community! So much turnover in a year with leasing agents. Vandalizing vehicles and bugging other residents are a few of the things I have seen happen near my building. You can hear almost everything your neighbors are watching on TV because the walls are so thin. Being a BRAND NEW property we did not expect to have so many things broken so quickly. Lights falling out of the ceiling and the mirror in the bathroom does not function properly. Moving in a space on the wall is completely crooked. The bugs are ridiculous, i work from home and have only seen them twice...in a year and they only spray the bottom of the building. the wasps at the pool make me not even want to go. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Pros: nice pool and nice clubhouse To be completely fair the office staff has been ok. I suppose when you read about other office staff being so bad it’s a pro but it’s not like they are great. When I compare rent to what’s in the area it seems fair. That’s not to say it isn’t ridiculous (more expensive then Orlando with walkability anyone?). are doing shady things like switching license plates? What sort of bank robbery thing is going on here? Halloween was the only event we have celebrated unless you mean a food truck with zero notice so hopefully you had no dinner plans.. Unit was misrepresented to me (this is putting it very kindly, because it was a bold faced look you in the eye and lie about a specific question or two). Rent requires Google chrome and bank draft to avoid fees (like $45 fees not like $3.) Every single rule in the contract we signed is broken on probably a daily basis which I don’t care about much but management sort of makes vague threats about fines, Don’t expect your stuff to get washed outside your unit is going to be dirty and attract bugs. This one is not the complex fault, but omg the postal service lol. I am guessing an accuracy of 15-25% so good luck getting your mail. The gym equipment smells like marijuana… tell me I am wrong on this, go lift some free weights when you tour. How does that happen? I am sure it was donated but who uses it when it smells like that?

Best Apartment Complex!!

I've lived here for a year and any time we need something, it is immediately addressed. We put in a work order for our A/C and maintenance came within 30 minutes. The management here is outstanding and so helpful! It's such a beautiful place to live and in a quiet area as well. 10/10 recommend this place!!

Beyond Expectations

I have lived at The Shore for about five months now, and I don't have a single complaint. I moved here without getting to see the apartments in person, and they surpassed all of my expectations. The apartments are beautiful, quiet, and still extremely affordable for the quality that you are getting. She spent time to go through thoroughly and even gave us furniture tips! Lisa has been incredible the whole journey!
