No A/C and Roaches
June 27, 2024I moved in April to these apartments, since moving in we have not had A/C the only way I knew it was somewhat working is when I turned it on, on Monday the office didn’t make us aware it was “working” till yesterday in a email. They have already turned it off without notice to anyone, only way I knew it wasn’t working is when my unit was getting hot, when I called and asked about it they couldn’t even give an exact answer as to when it would be working or even be “fixed” when it was working my ...unit wasn’t even cool, it was just circling the hot air in my unit. I currently have animals in my unit (a dog and bearded dragon) it gets so hot in my unit we have had to sit in my car with the A/C on just to get relief from the hot air. There are roaches everywhere, I’ve seen multiple inside my unit and outside they state they spray but since living here I haven’t seen anyone come and spray the outside of my unit(I have a doorbell camera and have never seen anyone spray, only people I see are the mailman and neighbors), I’ve seen them in our washing facilities inside of the washer, the inside of those facilities are terrible you can tell no one goes in to make sure they look alright or anything. They redid the floor in my unit but didn’t think to fix the baseboards now there is about an inch gap from my floor to the baseboard, when I moved in the unit was dirty it looked as if no one cleaned it? My cabinets were dirty with leftover things from the previous people living here, including dirt, rotten wood, and trash. There is a large open hole underneath my bathroom sink where the pipes are. I had put in a maintenance request because the fan in my bathroom was making a loud screeching noise when it was turned on they didn’t come and check on it till a few days after the request and left a note stating they will put in the order with management to get it fixed and they never followed up with me on the issue. I have seen wasps nest on the outside of my window and where I park my car. There is trash everywhere, outside of the dumpster and in the parking area.Property Manager Responded

No air conditioning
June 14, 2024I have never seen or heard of a apartment complex with no AC like this cannot be legal. It's ridiculous for the air to not work it is way too hot here to not have air conditioning either they need to make the rent cheaper so residents are able to get air conditioning window units put In or have the air working. I find it weird that the office and the gym has air conditioning but not people homes where they bust their butts to pay rent It's ridiculousProperty Manager Responded

Basically renting a sauna
August 24, 2023I moved in in April... I have not had AC the entire time I've lived here. I have 2 babies and the apartment has been at or above 90 degrees the entire time. My poor kids wake up covered in sweat every morning. I called two weeks after i moved in about the garbage disposal not working and that has never been repaired either. Every time I call the office they tell me they have no idea when the AC will be fixed & there is no credit or discount they can give on rent because "AC has nothing to do with ...rent" i would have never rented here if i knew there was no AC so that makes no sense.... the gym has been shut down, I've never seen the "billiards room", the two "amazing" pools that they show have not been opened all summer and wont be opened either.... another reason i wanted me & my kids to live here. So at first the rent seems reasonable for all the accommodations, however, there actually are NONE.... this place is a joke and i cannot wait to move out. Place is falling apart
August 17, 2023This place is terrible, First the lady in the leasing office always had a attitude and is rude i have been living here for 6 months now and have not once had a good interacting with her. The air condoning barely works. I barely leaving my room do to it being 85+ in my apartment all the time. The state of the building is horrendous. I'm constantly dealing with leaks that the do not fix and the cockroaches are horrible. The policy on pets is ridicules. They say they have 2 pools and a gym, the gym ...has never been opened and the pools are not open and have not been open for as long as i have lived here. June 17, 2023So many issues that won’t get taken care of. If you see a 5 star rating I’d question it for sure. They do not have anything together. A/C is constantly out and with it about to be the summer days with 100+ degree weather, A/C is essential! Multiple work orders in and nothing has been resolved for months. And I’m not even done with everything that is broken. I’m not putting anymore work orders in because they won’t get resolved and the new tenants that will come will still be working on getting it ...fixed. Not worth the money in rent every month. June 6, 2022Any other place would be better. I have yet to have basic living necessities -cool air is not provided for here and you will suffer in 100 F weather and hardly any water supplied! The water is so slow you cannot even wash dishes. I wish I knew how bad the place is before I moved. Don’t waste your time here. You will end up trying to move again. Oh and they will tell you that you have to pay late fees even though their system failed to inform for days- to avoid the late fees.Review from Apartments.com
TOO MANY PROBLEMS HERE
February 3, 2021(1) The appearance of the complex is poor (peeling paint, crumbling walls, dying vegetation and bare patches of ground where grass once grew. (2) Constant problems at the swimming pool, namely the water was often green during the summer and loud drunken parties at the pool that go on until 2 or 3 in the morning. (3) Due to the frequency of water leaks, there may be a black mold problem. No inspections for the mold have ever been conducted to my knowledge nor have air conditioner filters ever ...been replaced to my knowledge. (4) Drunk parties often occur and the overly loud motorcycles and cars destroy the tranquility of the place. (5) The office staff often appear uninterested in addressing any problems. The pool pump and filters were repaired early in the summer and the pool has been beautiful ever since. The shrubs and landscape has been scheduled to be replaced and repaired during a suitable time of the year. If you hear or experience loud parties please call the courtesy or area police to address. Management has no knowledge of water leaks or any kind of mildew problem. Good place to call Home
April 14, 2019Welcome to your new home, I highly recommend Villa Sierra Apartments, you don’t only fall in love with the apartments, the view of El Paso is amazing and not to mention the friendly office and maintenance crew, they are all super nice and efficient, you need anything they are right on it, I’m going on 4 years and I’ve been so comfortable here, El Paso doesn’t get to cold and using the fireplace is awesome and the air conditioner in the summer is so comfortable, I’m not a pool person but the other ...residents really enjoy it, come by move in you’ll know exactly what I mean, keep up the good work office ladies Liz, Erin, Jessica and maintenance crew Juan Carlos, Charlie, Isaac, PaulProperty Manager Responded

March 16, 2019This place is no good. Ever since I moved here they have been sketchy. It literally seems as if the entire apartment is superglued together. Water damage our first month here and still hasn’t been fixed. Plumbing issues as well. It looks good but the quality is not. Disappointed
March 8, 2019The Staff that works at the leasing office are amazing but the management of this place is a joke. They've found a way to try and squeeze every dollar out of you. The place is old so there are a lot of problems that come up and need fixing. If you place a work order you may or may not get it fixed, even though they're contractually obligated to do so. They have a system where they'll say they've completed your order when they never even touched it just so they can say they have no open orders ...and miraculously have 100% response rate. They rig their own system. The whole thing seems like a scheme to extract every dollar from the residents. We have a lot of military that live there and i can't say this place is pro military when I've seen many fight with them over the $75 late fees that continue to pile regardless if you have a good excuse or not. The best thing about this place is the view and the staff at the leasing office.Property Manager Responded
