My Experience
February 9, 2026I lived in the stella apartments for 2 and a half years . I remember when I first moved in everything seems great and they were very good at communicating when I first moved in. But over the years they couldn’t keep a maintenance worker to save their lives which means most tenants like myself had to wait 2 sometimes 3 months before they would come out to my apartment to do my service request to fix my a/c. I went that long during the summer time with out cooling central air. They told me even ...after waiting 2 months that I would have to wait until they got to my apt that was on this so called list. Didn’t get my a/c fixed until 3 months by that time fall was approaching. Also I remember I was at work one day and they had the nerve to change my locks on me because they lost the spare key to my apartment. Telling me they needed to get into my apt to fix my faucet in my bathroom had been leaking for 1 and half month that I put in a service request for but they failed to come out until my downstairs neighbors kept complaining about their apt flooding. Not to mentioned I had to rush and leave work early enough to go up to the leasing office before they closed just to get the new key just so I could get into my own apt because they locked me out by changing my locks while I was at work. Also experienced someone dying because of a shoot out while living in these apts . Honestly I’m glad I moved out of these apts and found something better.Property Manager Responded

Deceiving
September 10, 2024Office staff very dishonest, unresponsive, and unprofessional. Maintenance request may or may not get a response. Maintenance frequently marked work orders as complete despite not fixing anything Frequently shuts off water for “emergency repairs” may or may not receive warning about water being turned off. Will continue to bill you for community fees even when they haven’t paid their bill with the provider (trash valet and pest control). Never can get access to fitness centerReview from Apartments.com

July 30, 2024Maintenance is non existent!!!!!!!!!!! Communication is horrible!!! But they’re making improvements on their leasing office and the phones are always down. If you can help it DO NOT MOVE HERE
June 24, 2024Do not move here y’all. I’m really being nice giving them 2 two stars right now. I’ve been at the Stella for about 2 years now and since I moved in there has been a constant issue of gnats EVERY SUMMER. Like it’s to the point I can barely cook and eat in peace in my kitchen. The leasing office never answers the phone. Like how the hell do y’all have almost 3 different numbers but never answer the phone? They’re so nonchalant when you come into the leasing office with concerns. And why has their ...leasing office been an old un-renovated apartment since the day I moved in? You will be charged a valet fee for trash which they pick up whenever they feel like it, maintenance shows up to fix things when they feel like it. It is Horrible. Worse place ever
November 22, 2023I stayed there for too long, I should had moved out right away. Maintenance request never fulfilled, management is the worst. They don’t even know what they are doing, they can’t keep records, bad organization. They never fixed the refrigerator for two years, the apartment was full with black mold and make me sick for months. Water came in the house and the carpet was messed up and they didn’t fix it, nor help I paid for extra month, when they should had accommodate me for their negligence.Review from Apartments.com
False advertising
July 29, 2023There are no amenities here. Also my apartment has been covered in water since Friday. I've not had a functioning kitchen, some of my furniture is damaged and my renters insurance won't cover it and there is no end in sight because there is no maintenance staff. I have spent over $100 in plastic totes trying to save my possessions and am probably going to have to buy my own shop vac. I have to eat out every meal until they get to me so I'm probably going to be out about $300 before this is all ...over. Rude Staff
January 31, 2023The staff here lacks empathy. They care more about their employees than their residents. The water is constantly turned off due to “maintenance”. Currently my upstairs neighbor is in the process of moving and failed to shut her water off during one of their emergency shut offs. Whom ever removed her washer could not determine which switch was off or on which cause a major inconvenience for my downstairs unit.This issue cause my apartment to leak water damaging areas of the apartment. The water ...came on after 5 pm, Friday 01/27/2023. I attempted to knock on my neighbors door several times. During this time the employees were gone for the day. Frantic I decided to contact a maintenance worker who lives on the property. Although he was there to assist he also made a big deal about me contacting him after hours. My lights in both the laundry area and the bathroom do not work. I am also concerned about shock/fire hazard. Today, Monday 1/30/2023 I contacted the leasing office several times. After calling the leasing office multiple times I was either placed on hold or there was no answer. I decided to physically report to the office the Manager was very rude she showed no empathy and basically went off on me for calling her employee on his personal device. She showed no interest in what I experienced as a resident here at The Stella. She spoke with conviction when she told me not to call the individual on his personal cellphone. I would like to rate this place 1 out of 5 for professionalism, empathy, willingness to help , issue resolution and most importantly I would not recommend anyone to live here.Property Manager Responded

Wait until renovations are complete
August 18, 2021There are no available amenities and no timeline when they will be available. There is no onsite laundry, no gym, the pool is closed, nothing pictured on the website. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance crew is on point, but I'm paying higher than average and the only "amenity" I have is no carpet and nicer cabinets and counters but I'd rather have the pool honestly.Property Manager Responded

Great apartments
May 5, 2021I moved in June 2020. The management changed I think like once or twice. But the management ALWAYS been on point. The maintenance team are on point and responsive. It’s quiet at nights. Rip off!
December 21, 2020I applied. Im a mature adult near 60. I have a 799 credit score, 806 Fico score and 2 jobs. The 2nd job starts Jan 6. I have 7k in the bank and can pay 3 months in advance. They rejected me AND they took my app fee without EVER running my credit or background!!!! They lack ethics and are a major rip off! Not What is Pictured
August 17, 2020Come see this place for yourself before you rent here. None of the amenities advertised on their site are available. Trash every where all the time. The process for paying your rent and bill is incredibly confusing, you get your bill from one place, but pay it to another. Expectations upon move in for utilities were not made clear by the property (never got an official welcome letter and was told I did not need to do anything further regarding utilities) and have now been charged $150 in fees ...that they refuse to waive. The saving grace here has been the maintenance crew. Even though I have had to put in several requests, they are super responsive and always polite and friendly. Maybe in a year or so, this place will have it together, but until then I would look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Great Value
July 26, 2019The reviews that populate for this complex are slightly dated, so I had to give an update. The Apartments are very spacious and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. It’s adjacent to almost every food and business Memphis/Bartlett has to offer. There’s little traffic and is very quiet. I may see a little trash in the parking lot every now and then, but that’s a personal home training issue not the complex. Maintenance usually gets whatever it is when they clean in the morning.
