Love Living here!
November 10, 2023Everything here is great, the staff, maintenance, apartments, and community are all so welcoming. This place really is like a home away from home. Living at The Wyatt has made my transition to college super easy and pleasant. I will be finishing my schooling and living here!Property Manager Responded

Would not live there ever again
August 31, 2020I have lived there for the last 3 years and if it wasn't to darn cheap (speaking about 4 Bedroom/4 Bathroom Apartment) I would've moved out sooner. The first year was ok (roommate wise), however I did live without a toilet seat for about 2 months, because they thought it is ok to let someone move in without one on there. Besides all the other stuff that was already broken whenever I moved in (broken tables, broken floor, broken window blinds, broken lights, broken doorframes, yes it is fixable, ...but it took forever). Also, after that first year, the roommates I have been assigned with have been a pretty bad match (I do not know why they even ask you the roommate matching questionnaire). After moving out they gave me horrendous cleaning/fixing charges for things that have been broken whenever I moved in. Additionally their office is always closed at 5pm, which was a huge issue for me because often times I had a regular workday schedule, meaning I worked from 9-5pm. So picking up packages was really complicated (not during covid). One time they also just walked into our apartment without notifying my roommate or me (during COVID), which I do not think is appropriate. The parking situation is just horrendous as there are about 12-15 guest spots for the ENTIRE apartment complex and that is just not enough. (Especially when some people park on more than one spot, because the guest spots are also TINY). Besides that, their WiFi has kicked me out several times during my online lectures. But during the first month I have lived there our apartment did not really have working wifi at all. I had to go to starbucks to download my homework assignments. The staff is pretty nice, but their policies and procedures are not the best. Would NOT recommend living there. The location is also in an awkward spot (not in the city, but also not outside), but that is just my preference.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible place to live
February 13, 2020DO NOT MOVE HERE. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The “gated community” promise is a joke. The gate is broken half of the time and the surrounding gates for the buildings are NEVER locked. The leasing office staff does not care about their tenants and if there is ANY issue it is thrown back in YOUR face as if it is your fault. I have put in over 11 maintenance requests, most requiring at least 5 different appliances to be fixed, within 6 months of living here. I call the leasing ...office to let them know something needs to be fixed, they send someone out from maintenance. The maintenance does absolutely NOTHING 98% of the time, until you finally call and bug the leasing office until something is done. I had to call 4 times over my washer, 3 times over a disgusting smell coming from my sink, 4 times over the dishwasher, 4 times over my toilet clogging up, and counting. They are more worried about having clubhouse social events than actually fixing something around here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible experience
May 8, 2018I wish I could give no stars. Please do yourself a favor and don’t live at the Wyatt, you will be disappointed. I have lived in the Wyatt since August of 2017 and it has been a headache the entire time. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing; conversations, doors opening and closing, walking, etc. You can literally feel when your neighbors are walking around in their room, the floors are so poorly made that you can feel and hear the vibrations of footsteps. ...It’s like there is no wall between you and your neighbors. There is poop everywhere outside, the policy to pick up after pets has not been enforced. There is NO guest parking whatsoever. It is always a pain for guests to find a parking spot on curry Ave. It is noisy all the time so good luck with studying. The maintenance is almost nonexistent. When I moved into my apartment it was filthy. Stains on the carpet, blinds missing, a huge rip in the couch. I told the staff about the rip in my couch back in August. They promised they would replace it within the next few days. It is now May and it still has not been replaced :) The staff are very difficult to deal with. Whenever an issue is brought it they act like they are being inconvienced. I have never dealt with so much incompetence in my entire life. I was excited to move into my very first apartment at the Wyatt but I have learned my lesson. Don’t be fooled by the model apartment they show you. Ask to see the other buildings. They are filthy. The hallways are disgusting with cat urine, food, and sometimes dog poop. It is a sanitation/ health hazard. Please take my review seriously and stay away from this place, it is horrible.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Poor customer service
November 6, 2017I rarely complete reviews but I feel I must warn others regarding the customer service this establishment provides; The manager will not return phone calls or email correspondence. The workers who answer the phone are pleasant and friendly; however, when there is an issue where management needs to be involved it is nonexistent. An unauthorized payment of $1500.00 was withdrawn from my daughter's checking account and over a month later we cannot get it refunded. Mr. James does not return emails ...or phone calls, the number given for the regional manager has been disconnected. I have been extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service and am going to be forced to consult a lawyer to resolve this issue.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Parking Nightmare
October 20, 2015Be sure you never have guests come see you because they have 27 guest spots that you can wait for hours to maybe be able to park or YOU WILL BE TOWED 129.00 EACH TIME. Originally they offered guest passes and then said sorry about your luck no more. Building 4 has little parking so you end up trying to park on the other side of the complex. Think twice about taking an apartment not on the first floor no elevators and the halls are always dirty and gross. The sample apartment they show you is ...nice do not expect yours to look like that. They advertise a secure parking lot and that could not be farther from the truth no gate has been closed since move in. They tell me they don't have enough clickers for the gates in order to close them. LOL I'm guessing they shouldn't advertise that then. Upon Move in the sink was clogged, the carpet was not clean and had to be re cleaned, the washer was broken, water damaged base boards in bathroom, scratched up floors, sticky furniture, unclean appliances, screen on sliding door with holes, etc. We will not be staying another year needless to say and if I were you I would even think about it. For what you pay and its not cheap don't bother.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
My Apartment Story
August 3, 2015Having recently graduated, I have lived in a different apartment every year for the past three years. Junior year, my apartment was a 5 bedroom that was a regular college duplex, with many deficiencies. Our landlord said he would fix some of the things but would show up days and even weeks later. Of course, we as roommates got along pretty well and we all hung out together except for one who was always busy. We ended the year on a high note with a nice party, and it was great. However, finding a ...new place to love was hard because my best friend was graduating and I had no one to live with come May. Luckily, I received a call on the day of the Kentucky Derby from my then-current roommate asking if I wanted to join a group. I agreed happily. However, my new apartment was over $100 more than the current place, and with money tight, I didn't know how to do it. The following August, I decided that 60% of my paycheck would go into my rent. It was the first time I had to pay rent on my own, a first step to adulthood. For months and months I worked very hard to pay rent and would make just enough for the cost. Many times, I had to send in rent a little late because my mother and I had to wait for paychecks to come to see them immediately be cashed. Having a single mother had never seemed harder. I know she was working her hardest and she knew I was too. We made it work by our hard work ethic and even when things got tough, we worked even harder to get through everything. Recently, I paid my last moth of rent and it felt liberating. But my new place, The Wyatt, is again more expensive than the last, over $550 a month to be exact. HOWEVER, looking at this place is great. The community seems very close-knit and the facility is very nice. The staff is there to help, although if it is busy they can seem overwhelmed. Out of all the places I have stayed in my college career, this one stands above the rest. I feel like a part of a greater community here and cannot wait for the next 12 months.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
