    UNSAFE neighbors involving police. Many clothes have been stolen out of the washers. Roaches also appeared near the laundry room and came into the apartment from outside. My review is less than poor.

  • Terrible management at this place.

    My daughter is in her first job and first apartment and she went with this place based on the location and decent reviews. From the get-go, her apt was not thoroughly cleaned before she moved in. It smelled like cat pee and they wouldn’t acknowledge that. Finally, after arguing with them, they basically did some scaled down “shampooing.” Now, after a heavy rain, water seeped into her bedroom and soaked the carpet and her mattress, which was not in a frame yet. They came in after another delayed ...
    assessment and treated with some microbial stuff. Basically, they said there’s a foundation issue that can’t be fixed right away. No communication, total indifference to issues that are their problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

    Its my first time here in peoria and I was in awe by the beauty of Timberlane apartment. Securing an apartment was a smooth transaction with the help of Ms. Briana. I am also grateful with the manager, she was considerate and understanding. It is a peaceful community. I enjoy listening to the chirping of the birds. The maintenance was also kind in answering my concerns. The place is clean. I hope i will have a great stay here together with my family. Keep it up Timberlane.

  • Wouldnt recommend

    Unless you want to stay up until 3am every night because of creaky floors, have your water be shut off randomly for repairs with no notice until after, be able to listen to your neighbors whole conversations, no parking because the leasing office won’t enforce the limit per apartment (the one bedroom next to me has 4 people living in it with 4 cars), no snow removal, then this isn’t the place for you

  • This place still sucks because of management

    I had left a review titled “This place sucks because of managing” and the Property Manager of Timberlane had left a message on my review asking me to contact the office “so [they] may talk in detail and determine opportunities to uplift [my] experience.” And that they looked forward to hearing from me. To be honest, this was irritating to me. I posted the review after they had told me that there was basically nothing they could or would do for me. I mean I wasn’t asking for much, just to not have ...
    hammering outside my window constantly and to not have my water shut off so much and without informing me. They said that I am free to make the review if I would like. They want to appear as though they are trying to cater to my every need though, so they made sure to publicly cover their butts instead of actually do right by me. I will say that if this review is still active, then they still have not done anything for me and are just trying to make themselves look good without doing anything good. So don’t be fooled by another “nice” comment from them on this review. They still suck. I have them a chance, so you don’t have to.

    Where to begin with Timberlane.. I have lived here so far for 8 months and it has been made ever clear that they do not care about their residents. They had been doing construction outside my apartment, replacing paneling, for two months when they informed the people of my building it would only be two weeks. They continued to randomly go around hammering outside my window off and on since then. They came back around a few months later to do the exact same thing outside my window without notice. ...
    While other apartment complexes have been opening common areas like their gyms, Timberlane has opted to keep them closed, against the requests of their residents. I had inquired about this and the manager essentially told me to just deal with it and that I could take them to court if I wanted anything done. Furthermore, they are constantly shutting off the water to my building. They have warned us twice and not the other 8 times. I woke up and had to get ready for clinic and couldn’t shower because i had no water. Checked my phone to see if there was any notification from them, but no. They do what they want without care for resident comfort. A month before speaking with the manager, I had received a lease renewal letter from them and they offered my lease with an increase in rates. They don’t care about repeat residents, they know they can’t get someone to sign a lease and then just leave right after and they will make enough money. I strongly suggest not living here.

  • Great Place to Live

    Timberlane is conveniently located, the staff is friendly, and the grounds are well kept. The apartments are affordable and there are many perks available. I’ve had an overall good experience during my time at Timberlane Apartments. I would recommend them if you’re looking for a nice place to live. Briana and Sandy have been especially helpful when something’s come up. Thank you Timberlane!

    horrible.... management is uneducated and UNprofessional .. not kid friendly at all. all they want is your money. THEY will fine you for things without notifying you or trying to ask you questions and when maintenance comes be home cause they will run to the office and tell them what's in ur house..... the rent is super high for nothing that is up dated... which was in the newer buildings... you can find better elsewhere . when I moved in they didnt background check me or ask for pay stubs and ...
    was automatically approved... and it's because they will take anybody and it shows.. couldnt wait for the day I moved out.

      We're sorry that you feel this way about our community. We're shocked at some of your comments and find most of them untrue. When you were approved for your apartment, you were fully approved based on your rental, income, credit, and criminal check - so we didn't need to probe any further by asking for paystubs for proof.

  • Great Community!

    I have lived here for quite some time now and absolutely love it! The staff is really nice and my maintenance requests always get completed quickly. The pool is so much bigger than other apartment complexes that I've lived at and the patio area is huge! Seriously the best bang for your buck.
