    I highly recommend the Timbers in Lake Fores. The Timbers has many positives, including the following: 1. The apartment is HUGE. The living room area is approximately 22' X 12'. The bedroom is very large - probably about 15' X 15'. 2. You do not have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. 3. There is a very large walk-in closet. 4. The ground level apartments have the luxury of having a small yard. Mine is approximately 22' x 11'. My little yard is surrounded by a 6' ...
    fence, so it is completely private. 5. My apartment has large windows and a big sliding glass door, so it is very sunny. 6. The complex has two pools, one of which is heated. There are some outdoor grills and attractive fountains also. When I look out my window, I feel like I'm at a resort. 7. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The bushes are neatly trimmed, as is the grass, and there are some attractive flowers, including many Borgainveilla bushes. I never see any trash on the ground. 8. I know some people complain that the management team is strict, but I think that's a huge plus. They do not put up with people breaking the rules. 9. The management is VERY responsive to the residents' needs. If something needs to be repaired, one of the maintenance people is sent over very quickly. 10. There is plenty of parking. 11. Last, but certainly not least, this was thE most affordable apartment complex I could find in Orange County. And one of the few that allows pets (2 pets max). It is close to Rte 5, so it is very easy to get places. There are very few downsides to living here. The apartments do not have their own washer and dryer, but the communal ones are very nice. That is honestly the only negative I can think of. I think that the rules at the Timbers are typical of most well-run and reputable apartment complexes. They are necessary for safety, cleanliness and efficiency, and their main purpose is to protect the residents. I am very grateful that the management is strict about making sure people follow them. I feel very fortunate to have found the Timbers. It feels like home and is a comfortable, clean, affordable, and safe place to live.

  • Great Location, Solid Management

    Just moved out due to opportunities in LA. But wanted to address some things I saw in other reviews. During my time here: Laundry area was very rarely broken down. Work orders were always handled in a timely manner. Yes, they have tow company ready to go if people are not displaying parking pass, but I think thats pretty par for the course with apartment properties, just follow the parking rules and you're good. Guess parking passes are obtainable, and worst case scenario it's easy to park your ...
    own car off street and change your parking pass to guest vehicle temporarily so they can use your covered spot. The property is honesty amazingly maintained with tons of large trees and flowers.

    We stayed at Timbers Apartments El Toro for 14 months. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It is a good quiet location with no through traffic and easy access to i5 and a 5 minute or less drive to most stores. Walking distance to many restaurants and some stores. We had a nice view of the pool and the mountains from our apartment. The maintenance staff is quick to fix problems, although the pandemic has forced them to be extra cautious. They do a good job of keeping the grounds clean and ...
    frequently wipe down communal areas. With the apartment you get access to their Amazon Hub, a large BBQ area with three grills, two pools with cabanas, three laundry facilities, one covered parking spot with storage and one unassigned spot. The parking situation was probably our biggest issue. They have limited parking spaces and the unassigned spots have fierce competition from both tenants and their guests. If you have guests over be sure to hold a spot for them and get a permit in good time.

    this place is awful!! they are all in ur personal business but lie to u with a smile if u have any questions for them! water is shutt off all the time notice!! laudry machines are horrible!! break all the time and people wash gross stuff and it is not properly sanatized!! cars are broken in to all the time. homless people have been seen by mantance showering naked in pool shower and nothing is done about!! I could go on and on how much this place stinks and isn't worth the money!! managment is ...

  • Don't be fooled

    Parking issues, to outdated laundry facilities that have ruined ALL of my cloths I have put in there. Homeless people constantly in and out living in the relaxing areas and by the bbq's, it's very disgusting. Only thing nice about it is, staying inside.
