Poor Management

Great Location. Questionable Maintenance Practices.
January 2, 2021Quiet, wooded area near the Fox River Mall with a bus stop at the end of the street. The rent is pretty reasonable, but the apartments are outdated and a bit run down. Emergency repairs tend to be taken seriously, but anything other than a fire or flood might be ignored for weeks, months, or even years. My bathroom ceiling has damage from a flood upstairs that hasn't been repaired in over a year. And there has been an ongoing problem with rodents in recent years. I had to set traps myself to ...deal with them a year or two back, and now I'm seeing droppings on my stove and other locations once again. Being autistic, I'm particular about keeping my apartment clean, and things like this really disgust me. I also feel that if someone is paying rent, they shouldn't be expected to do maintenance themselves in order to have acceptable living conditions. My impression is that a lot of effort is put into making apartments ready for new tenants but existing tenants are a low priority. Even those like me who have lived here since 2001. I'm keeping my eyes open for a better apartment and will likely move at the first opportunity.Property Manager Responded

We are also working closely with our pest control provider to resolve any future rodent issues. BAD ROAD SERVICE DURING WINTER
May 12, 2019Decent place but the road (S Lynndale Dr) to the apartment and the parking lot does not get plowed during snow days/nights until the next day or so. If there is a snow storm, you WILL get stuck and not make it to home. Maybe it's the area but it would be a lot better if the city or landlord get's at least the road plowed during snow days so residents can make it home. It already sucks having to drive in the snow, sucks even more not being able to make it home.Property Manager Responded
