Loving this community so far!
September 13, 2021My husband, 2 dogs, and I moved into a 2 bed (1000 sq ft) apartment at the end of July. We have had a great experience with the property management and maintenance staff - they genuinely care about the experience and well-being of residents. It is a great-dog friendly area with lots of places to walk, places to throw poop away, and we utilize the dog park almost daily. There is a bus stop right outside of the apartment complex that has routes that go to downtown Ann Arbor and UM Central ...Transit Center so commuting to campus for me is very easy. It is an older building, but has been maintained well. We love the large patios. No complaints about our experience so far.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Bad management team
May 14, 2020Hired cleaning people who leaked dirty water into my place downstairs and refused to stop when I told them. The management team then blamed the former residents for not reporting the problem (which was weird because I never got water until they moved out), and me for talking to the cleaning people. Trash bin overflows constantly. Wrote a email to the management team never got reply.Review from Apartments.com
Great place to live
January 23, 2017My boyfriend and I have lived at Traver Crossing for several months and we love it. We have a one-year lease on a 2-bedroom apartment. We chose this place because they allow our cat and german shepherd, and the apartment is spacious and in a good location. It is right across the street from a science and nature center and golf course, so there is lovely hiking just across the street. Very close to downtown and a short drive to the interstate. The apartment comes with a large storage space in the ...building basement. There is card-operated laundry in the basement, which we don't mind as much as we thought we would. The best part about this place is the maintenance. They are quick to repair any request we have, and always leave a note, and call us after to make sure things are working properly. In the winter someone is out putting salt around the car tires and plowing the snow early in the morning so we can get out and go to work. We will miss it here when we leave!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
On Number 2 bus route, and walking distance to many places
July 25, 2015This is an interesting combination of quiet, mature residents, and a good location for taking the bus to campus. When the number 2 isn't running, it is possible to walk to North Campus in less then in hour (and I am a slow walker). Also it is within the distance needed to take the SafeRide home at Night, if you are part of the University. However most residents have cars. This is a perfect apartment for if you have pets. Both Cats and Dogs are allowed. Around the apartment buildings are lots of ...grass to walk you Dog in, and they even have a fenced off area to let them run. The apartments themselves have a lot of square footage, but the building are getting older, so that a lot of things are being replaced with new. I've seen neighbors get new kitchens, and we got a new tub. Our building got a new heater, that works really well. We are warm in the cold winter. We are in the distract of the STEAM Elementary that so many students from out of distract are trying to get into. In fact it is such a short walk to the Elementary that you could walk the child to school.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
