Horrible Experience
April 28, 2024I lived in a 1bed unit on the second floor and although i absolutely loved the look of my apartment, the longer I stayed there the more problems I had. My air conditioning leaked for several weeks before maintenance was sent to my apartment. The grounds were not kept clean and the dumpsters were always overflowing, I had an expensive package stolen and when I asked management to look at the security tapes during a a specific day and time since the delivery was logged, I never heard back. And when ...I finally decided to not renew my lease and move out, they tried keeping my entire deposit. Even though I left the apartment in perfect condition and had pictures and videos to prove it since they did not send someone to do a walk through the day I moved out. I have learned to never lease a place that does NOT have a management office on site to oversee it. Although the apartments are beautiful, I would NOT recommend.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Spectacular view of the water front
April 19, 2024I moved into the Turbine Lofts on the 3rd floor towards the end of 2020, despite it being a chaotic time. During the first year, it was relatively peaceful since few people had moved in yet. In my view, this place is a rare gem compared to other apartments in the area. Other places are either too old or lack essential amenities to justify their exorbitant prices. Nonetheless, Turbine Lofts had everything I desired, and it was within my budget for a brand-new apartment. From the new granite ...countertops to the in-unit washers and dryers, this place had it all, except for an elevator. Over the years, there have been two or three property management changes. Overall, things have been excellent for me, and I never had any significant problems with noise, repairs, or anything requiring attention. While I heard that some individuals had issues with leaky air conditioners, my experience was different. It turned out to be uncleaned filters, which the management fixed promptly. Most of the negative reviews stem from poor communication between the previous management and tenants. Prior management failed to uphold the integrity and standards that were in place and passed them down to the next manager, leading to a loss of trust among many residents. Recently, there has been a significant change in property management, and I am optimistic that things will improve. From work orders to routine building maintenance, there has been a positive tempo that's making a difference. The new management is responsive, and they check in frequently to ensure that any issues I raise are addressed promptly. If things continue the way they are, people will be delighted to move in, and it will be tough to say goodbye.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Spacious apartments
April 8, 2024I really liked the layout of my apartment. Tall ceilings and windows. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Very walkable area, always felt safe. Maintenance has improved. It was impossible to get a response before and now the problems are resolved in a more timely manner. A/c units go out frequently which is annoying but they do get repaired. I definitely wish there were more community features like picnic tables, grills or park benches. Overall, not a bad place to live.Review from Apartments.com
Something to be said about leasing staff
December 21, 2023Not sure who’s managing this place but it says a lot about the leasing staff. The leasing rep responds with short answers as if she’s hiding something. Another red flag was that the when I drove by their to see the place two months ago, I asked a nice tenant walking her dog how as the place since her stay. She said there are a lot of issues with maintenance, office staff can be difficult at times and they don’t like to fix things in a timely manner. That was enough for me. Did not want to commit ...to renting a two bedroom and have to deal with this madness. Tenants will tell you and so will reviews.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible place to live.
February 15, 2023The management is bad. They never fix anything that is wrong with your apartment. My heater/ac wont quit running on the automatic setting. My dish washer has been leaking since October. Holes in the walls. Carpet with nails sticking through. They won’t replace it. It smells like pot all the time.Review from Apartments.com
