Great Apartment for College Students
February 23, 2023This apartment is so close to the SU campus and about 10 minutes from the Le Moyne campus. It's a great price, has so many amenities, and is fully furnished! Great Place to Live!
February 4, 2022I've lived on one of the properties for about 9 months now and I have not had any major issues. The management is extremely friendly and nice and willing to fix any issues you have. The price is extremely affordable and everything is included in the rent except gas/electric. Wifi is included, water included, snow removal, lawn care, and there is no trash removal fee! It's also very convenient that washer and dryer is included on all properties but I wish my laundry room was a bit more renovated ...and cleaned up like the other properties. I could stay if I could but I have to move out of the area. A lot of places in Syracuse are a bit sketchy but the people with University Townhouses care about the quality of living at one of their properties.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Insect and Rodent Infested Townhome
July 26, 2019I have been living here for three weeks and have been asking for pest control since I settled in. When I moved in there were dead insects and mouse droppings everywhere. From the dead bugs in the refrigerator, mice droppings in all of the cabinet sinks and dresser. The back patios has trash that’s been probably sitting there for months. I did a full clean of the full three story home since I needed early move in. Flies and knats I assume come through the wall air conditioners especially when I ...cook. I kill at least 5 flies every time I cook and have to sweep dead flies from by the entrance/exit doors every two days. I literally kill some type of fly, knat, or spider every single day. Earlier in the week I walked outside and saw that everyone’s trash has been pulled to the front except for mine(they offer “valet” trash service). As I look at my trash can it was covered in MAGGOTS! I assume whoever “valets” trash saw the maggots and didn’t bother to touch my trash. I had to email the leasing office in order for the trash can to be removed from the front of the unit. I have cleaned mice droppings out of my bedroom dresser and they have reappeared. I then took the drawer out the dresser and saw a mice that run across my bedroom the following night. I have a dog in my unit and can’t leave him in here alone where mice run around. I’ve asked the leasing office for pest control since I’ve been encountering these bugs and they are just now agreeing to have them after basically begging for weeks. They have also acknowledged that they think pest control won’t do much for the home since I already spray for bugs daily. I also requested to talk to the property owner about a exterminator for the home. I missed his call by 7 minutes and when I called back the leasing agent told me they won’t send a exterminator because they wanna take the “safe” way and not “harm” the mice but instead just put more traps down on MONDAY (leasing office is closed all weekend). I am extremely disgusted with my first month here living with bugs, pests, and rodents. I have a roommate moving in this week and I feel bad for the situation she’s about to move in to.
