Horrible Property Management
December 31, 2024The place is alright to live in until something breaks. Then, you'll just have to live with bad communication from management and repairs not happening. Trinitas Ventures sold to a new property manager that has 1 star reviews. Don't live here.Property Manager Responded

Low quality property and management from a 2 year resident
July 14, 2023Property is poorly made. Management over values the property in thinking students would want to like 20+ min unreliable shuttle ride from campus. General managers promise, then turn over, so nothing is followed through and always excused as something the past manager did. Reasons for insane rent prices for "giveaways" and "events" that are poorly done only for social media. If sign here, be prepared for a company that stops caring and costs an absurd amount. We are an ideal location for those who do not want to be a part of the fast life of Downtown Ann Arbor and want to separate school and home. Our shuttle service is receiving an all new operation schedule and system for the new school year which we are very excited to provide to residents! We also provide parking and bike racks to accommodate other transportation modes if you do not want to use the shuttles; as well as having a city bus stop right next to the property. The One is currently staffed with new management to provide and rebuild the property to it's fullest potential and with great customer service- we apologize for the poor service you may have received in the past. You are more than welcome to contact new management with any questions and concerns you may have so we can attempt to resolve any ...past issues you have. We base our rent off of furnishings, being a new property, utilities, and amenities included- we do not charge our residents for the gifts and appreciation events we do for them. Left me homeless
December 21, 2021I couldn't move into my apartment until over 2 months after my lease start date. During this time period, they continuously lied to me about when my unit would be ready in order to prevent me from terminating the lease. Their reviews are so bad on other sites they practically have nothing left to lose, so expect the worst service on all aspects as they cut corners to save money. Do Not Sign A Lease With The One!
October 20, 2021My son signed a lease with The One Ann Arbor in November 2020 ... 272 days before his scheduled move-in date. For 267 days he received absolutely no indication that his move-in would be delayed. 5 days before move-in he was told that the apartment was't ready and that his move-in would be delayed by 2 weeks ... then 3 weeks ... then over a month ...and counting. There is no way the company did not know this was going to be a problem long before August 19. They simply chose not to notify the ...residents until the last minute because they knew it would be next to impossible for them to find alternate housing in an already crowded Ann Arbor housing market. Since the delay was announced, the management of the entire situation has been disgraceful. Poor communication, lack of transparency on construction progress/issues, putting residents up in hotels 45-60 minutes outside of campus (or not finding hotels for them at all) and now the company is trying to get out of paying the incentives they promised for displacing the students and are denying some students the ability to terminate the lease (even though they are still sitting in hotel rooms with no permanent residence 6 weeks into the school year).
