Don’t move here!!
June 30, 2021Gun shots heard in the night often! Roommates who are randomly chosen student or not and will be very disrespectful! The staff will enter the apartment at anytime unannounced very often! The apartment itself is not with worth what they charge it’s not upgraded with old appliances! My first and last stay! Do not recommend look further away from here!Review from Apartments.com
It’s your best bet.
January 18, 2021While it is on the pricey side, you have all your utilities includes and furniture is provided. When I moved the apartment was pretty clean, it could have been better, but I was still comfortable and it was not any messier than if you had moved into a dorm room on campus. As far as anyone talking about safety issues, well, we live in Greensboro. The crime here is high, so obviously incidents are going to happen everywhere. I’ve felt generally safe here, but we are right down the street from the ...Vic, which is notorious for the amount of crime that goes on over there, so keep that in mind. I feel like your safety in Greensboro is only pretty insured if you live in a dorm or a luxury apartment that requires a key fob of some sort to get in. This is student living, BUT you don’t even have to be a student to go here, which is upsetting. I strongly recommend living here with people you are friends with, because if you have a serious issue with any roommate, they won’t help. I have a roommate who is absolutely horrendous and smokes weed everyday in the apartment and has people over all the time, and the leasing office, for the most part, has kind of dismissed our complaints. But besides dealing with the whole roommate, I do enjoy living here because it’s comfortable and enough space for me.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Best place to start out in
January 4, 2021If you're new to Greensboro, this is the best place to start out in. I really enjoyed living here. I've had great roommates. The staff is great. When you put in a work request, the maintenance is very eager to help. You don't have to working about taking your trash to the dumpster because they have staff that will do it for you. Apartment is completely bug-free. The only thing I had to worry about was houseflies. The gym is incredible but limited due to COVID 19. The patio is nice & is a great ...size to put chairs and a table in. My room was a great size, bed was comfortable. The apartment is furnished. AC/Heat works well. Parking can get limited at night especially after 8. So if you have to work late be prepared to park far from your destination. And if you have a visitor make sure they get a parking pass, otherwise their car will be towed. Overall, living here has been a great experience. I wish they offered 1 bedroom apartments but other than that I couldn't hope for more!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Amazing service at first, then went downhill
October 30, 2019When first moving to UV, I was very excited it was my first college apartment. Great maintenance is the only thing that has stayed the same thought my year and a half of living here. My car was broken into and nothing was done about it because their security cameras only point to the leasing office and the back gate. Some of the office staff have become very rude and outside of work like to cause commotion with residents. Also, from what I've seen the workers who also live in the complex do not ...have to follow their lease and get away with things that we are not supposed to do.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Dont Waste your time
October 29, 2019I have lived here for a little over a year, and now I wish I had never renewed my lease. The amount of money I pay a month is NOT worth it. I also caught that they were billing me extra for renters insurance when I had already gave proof of my own insurance. The management and staff are very rude, not just during office hours, but also with interactions around the complex. They are not consistent and fair with violations of the lease, allowing some to just take a fine and others resulting in ...removal. There have been many break ins and nothing has been done about them. Security was around for a few weeks and I haven't seen them back since. I would invest my money to live in an unprofessional community.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
0 stars, Live ANYWHERE else
April 8, 2019It is the closest to campus but it is not worth it. The apartments are small and dirty and the management is horribly rude. Someone tried to break into my apartment through my roommate's window while he was asleep inside. We live right in front of the leasing office and they don't have a single security camera. Nothing was done. The apartments were very dirty when we first moved in.Review from Apartments.com
Unsafe Complex & Rude Management
April 2, 2018DO NOT let your children stay here. If you are looking for a safe place for your child to rent while attending college go somewhere else. Since my son has been there these last 2 semesters he has had his Jeep broken into and radio stolen, 3 armed robberies where the thieves pushed their way into apartments while residents were home, and had 3 tires slashed last week along with 15 other cars and the night after that there were gun shots all night. He does not feel safe here along with many other ...residents that he has talked to. So after replacing tires and paying for a tow truck the property manager has refused to let us out of the last 3 months of rent and was extremely rude to my husband when discussing the issue. The community manager, Jamal was extremely nice and said he didn’t see an issue with letting us out of the lease because our son feels unsafe. They do not offer security cameras or security guards at the apartment complex and has a sign posted on the grounds stating no firearms allowed which invites every thief to come and take your belongings. This is NOT a safe place for students to live!!! Please beware of the extremely rude owner, he is not willing to work with you. He basically told us that we could continue to pay the last 3 months rent and our son move out, what a joke. He obviously has no children and does not care about the welfare of their residents.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
