About Vargos on the Lake
Vargos on the Lake is a new apartment community, but around Houston, the name Vargos stands for something more. Over 50 years ago, the Vargos family opened a lake front restaurant on these grounds. Many native Houstonians tell stories of their engagement, prom, and special celebrations at Vargos. This was also the site of countless weddings. We even found a gal named Varga because this was the spot her parents first fell in love. Today’s Vargos on the Lake will serve as a home to 276 lucky residences. Great community
March 18, 2017I visited this place last week and decided to lease a one-bedroom apartment facing the lake. The thing that really closed the deal for me was their awesome fitness facility and the free yoga classes twice a week. They also have 2 guest suites that the residents can rent out for friends and family. I look forward to moving in soon!Review from Apartments.com
Beautiful views!
March 18, 2017I have lived at Vargos since May of 2015, and I plan to stay as long as I can. The office team is what sets this place apart from the others. They are always friendly and they have never made me feel like I'm just another number. I have a 5th floor apartment that overlooks the pool and lake, and I get the chance to see the sunrise (If I wake up early enough) from my balcony. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.Review from Apartments.com
Zero Security
March 12, 2017my apartment was broken into and good worth $ 20K were stolen. This happened when I was away and management was aware that I am traveling. There is zero security or safety camera's around main building and management has not hired any reputable security company. Two apartments were broken into in one night. This is not safe place for family or for safety of belongings. Management has got nonchalant attitude towards robberies. Unsafe Apartments!!!!!!
April 30, 2016This place is unsafe!!!! Lots of crimes activities within a year from the opening : Wheels stolen from cars in the parking garage, couple apartments broken into in the same day and during daylight. They are having a lot of issues when it comes to control and secure the entrances and insure the safety of residents.....they don t even deserve the one star.....Review from Apartments.com
AMAZING!!!
September 8, 2015The staff is great, which is a plus for my wife and I (newlyweds). The place is amazing, from the landscaping to the apartment. It Park Ave living in Houston! Great price for the area (Piney Point). The amenities are great as well, from the Flex Flicks Theater, Kickboxing station, Yoga Studio, and Pool with solar power panels so your cell phone never dies. The guest suites are next to none. we are just so impressed and plan on being here a very long time and raising a family here.Review from Apartments.com
Vargos on the Lake
July 20, 2015I fell in love with the place at first sight. I had veiwed probably close to 20 places and I came here and met with Lacie who is extremely sweet with an awesome personality. Everyone there are extremely accommodating. The perks are above and beyond such as free wifi, free margarita machine, the coffee machine is phenomenal that I stay each day out with a few espresso shots or a latte, state of the art gym with rowing machines, kick boxing machine,a work out theatre, free yoga 3 times a week, a ...massage and facial room with very ideal prices, a Vegas style pool with charging stations, a huge off leash dog park for your fur babies the amenities go on and on. You really only need to leave is if you have to work. The apartments are very nice with with beutiful white granite in the kitchen and bathroom and so much cabinet space. They are very modern and sleek looking. With it being brand new a few minor problems came up and it was fixed within a day. The property is absolutely beautiful and definitely a relaxing atmosphere.
