Incompetent Management
May 23, 2023This building could have been amazing, but it is run by a group who are completely incapable of running a business. There is no "super", even though they'll give you a phone number to someone who never picks up. Anything broken in your apartment you'll just have to live with. One of the very first tenants to sign a lease here is in a court battle already because when it rains, water streams into their bedroom. Packages are stolen weekly because the door security system never worked. You just ...get used to the sound of alarms beeping for unknown reasons in the lobby, which is also full of mailroom litter since management can't be bothered to hire anyone other than a single cleaning person tasked with wiping down an entire building one day a week. Spills and dog mess in the elevator go unattended to for days. They started out selling a vision of a gym, community room, bike storage etc, but instead decided at random to convert the lower levels of this building to...an adult daycare? Several times they have misplaced our rent and then blamed us for it. They first wanted paper checks, then accused several of us of not paying, when we have proof they deposited the checks. Then came the e-payment system, and now they're telling us our payments didn't go through the app THEY picked and are demanding we pay double the rent. It's a shame because the neighborhood is great.
