Mostly Quiet

Moved in on April 1st 2024 and have found the place to be mostly quiet. There are animals so sometimes one will bark or whine for a short time, but most of the residents are genuinely quiet. This place must have new management from after some of the reviews as I find them responsive and maintenance requests addressed relatively quickly. The buildings are older so not everything is modernized but my unit seemed to be updated with new carpet, fixtures, and appliances prior to me viewing ...
it. Garages could use some attention, sure, but there is ample parking as the lot ever seems half full. I think someone just didn't want to park in the back. Overall, Whispering Pond apartments was the right choice for me as I don't want to be around smokers and prefer quieter neighbors.

Poor Management

I lived here 5 months and my car was broken into ,, no cameras the manager was fired or let go ! I have yet to see a manager. I've put in 5 request for maintenance,,,, my apartment wasn't ready when I moved in they were painting and cleaning carpet. I have dirty blinds and paint chips everywhere ,,,,Poor choice on my behalf

Pathetic

Moved in here several months ago because rent is lower than most in the area, and it's clear why now. The building and units are VERY dated, to the point they have wallpaper, carpet and arches that are from the 70s. The parking lot accommodates about half the units in the buildings. The garbage and recycling are overflowing after only a few days. The "dog area" is filled with mole hills and a large ditch that is covered with a patio brick. The "pond" out back is covered in algae and stinks ...
when it is the least bit warm outside. Anytime a service request is entered, they mark it as "resolved" within 24 hours, disregarding the fact that nothing has been done to address the issue. There are 2 washers and dryers per building, with 24 units in each building. The machines are constantly out of order or tell you the load is "unbalanced." If you contact the office, they tell you to contact the laundry company, instead of dealing with repeated issues. None of the buildings are secure, as obvious by the pry marks on all of the security doors. The sidewalks are constantly a hazard, being uneven and not regularly shoveled. The manager is polite, but dismissive of any service requests. When I toured the building, she was over an hour and a half late, with no call telling me she would be late.

Don't move here

The management here is inconsiderate and incompetent. They tow people's vehicles that pay rent and say there is nothing they can do. Rent is raised every chance they get. Musty smell on bottom floor. If you have options I highly recommend renting elsewhere. No office on-site and the manager does not return messages. You have to call multiple times to get ahold of anybody. Way over priced for what your renting. Don't find out the hard way.

Inconsiderate Management

Made a fairly impromptu appointment with the management. They have no office on site so she had to drive to meet me there. I waited around for a good 20 min for her to get there after being 5 min late myself. I leave because I'm sick of waiting. 10min after I leave I get a call. "I'm leaving in 5 min." She says.... You can't call me and let me know that you're gonna be late 30 min ago? You can't make an appointment for later?
