Best College Apartments!
August 5, 2017I just moved out of Carlton Scott after 2 years of living there. It is a perfect college apartment! The rent price is perfect especially if you are a student on a tight budget. It is convenient to campus with the Tom's creek and Progress bus stops right outside, and if you'd rather walk it only takes about 15 min to campus. Laundry in the basement of each building was great, I never had an issue with a neighbor using it when I needed it. It's great if you have a dog, everyone was good about ...picking up after their dogs and it has plenty of grass to walk the dogs around the complex. It's a fairly quiet complex, I rarely heard my neighbors. Having a 7 11 next door came in handy on numerous occasions. The maintenance guys and April in the office are incredible people that I will definitely miss. They are very quick and reasonable with you when things break. Carlton Scott Apartments are the Best in Blacksburg!
August 6, 2015I've lived at the Carlton Scott apartments for four years now, and having lived in several college-town apartments, I can say that these are by far some of the best. April, Sonny and Mitch take care of their residents like family. I've never waited more than an hour for a maintenance order! The units are up-to-date with new appliances, and April consistently updates the bathrooms and decks to make sure they are safe and appealing. The units themselves are safe, clean, and perfect either for a ...group of roommates or small families. CS is located on Tom's Creek Road with easy access to multiple bus lines. Additionally, the apartments are about a 15 minute walk from the Upper Quad and Drillfield on Virginia Tech's campus. Easy walking to multiple restaurants and shopping centers for those who don't have a car. I can't recommend this apartment complex enough!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
