Will not show you a one bedroom wat so ever
February 9, 2021Will not show one bed they want u to sign a lease to be stuck in a one bedroom that you were never shown never know what any things look like from appliances to the size of the bed which I think is on fear I am trying to move something better than what I have but how would I know that with woodwin if they hide the one bedroom from you and keep showing off the fabulous two bedroom? From the looks of the reviews two bedrooms have a five star all the one-bedrooms have one star and complaints of ...appliances being old.Property Manager Responded

This Review Is For The 1 Bedroom Apartments Only
September 16, 2019Do not move here if you are looking for a one-bedroom apartment. Again I will reiterate that this review is only for the one-bedroom apartments, and I cannot speak for the two-bedroom, and they honestly seem very nice. Every staff person I have interacted has been nothing gracious and respectful. The big issue with the 1-bedrooms is that they are technically at basement level. The absolute biggest issue is the noise from the floor above. Not the T.V. noise or people talking, but the walking. Even ...when I know someone is just walking from the living room to the kitchen every single footstep sounds like they are jumping off the furniture and slamming down. Even with my Bose noise cancelling headphones on, I still hear EVERY SINGLE STEP. This means you live on their time. When they get up in the middle of the night, you are now up. If they get up at 4:30 am to go to work, you get up at 4:30 am to lay there trying not to cry(current situation.) Even with a fan, and T.V. on through the night it is louder than thunder and really makes this place unlivable. And I have had two sets of couples live above me, and no kids so I know it wasn't just a fluke, and after talking with my neighbor he had the same issue. Maybe this only happens in my building , but it is really not worth the risk My other issue is the quality vs. a two bedroom. I was shown a two-bedroom initially, even though I told them I wanted a one-bedroom,(because two bedroom was the only "show room" they have, and I thought the place looked fantastic. Nice stove, refrigerator, and the bathroom was great. When I asked if the one-bedroom was the same in terms of appliances/bathroom, I was assured that it would be the same or even newer! Then when I moved into the one-bedroom, nothing was the same. The stove looks like it is from the 50's with only one large burner, no glass to look inside and no light! The bathroom mirror in the two-bedroom was big and beautiful with three big bulbs and I was so happy because that's exactly what I wanted. The one I have now really looks like one in the movies when they're at a crappy motel that I have to bend down to look into and it is just barely wide enough to show my shoulders. It really seems like they don't care about the one-bedroom and only want to focus on the two-bedroom. In short, if you're not going to get a two-bedroom here, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!Property Manager Responded

The other reviews must be written by the leasing office
April 2, 2016I have lived here for a few years. I stayed because the location was so close to my work I couldn't give it up(yes, I hate driving that much). Why I won't renew my lease: 1. Rent increases by $15 yearly 2. Maintenance is SLOW. The one washer and dryer that SIX apartments share broke in the dead of winter. It took 3 weeks for them to "fix." Except it wasn't actually fixed with the new part they put in, so then it took an additional three weeks to actually fix. 6 weeks with no laundry in the dead ...of winter. 3. Maintenance is Really Slow! Our oven broke and they couldn't get us a new one for almost 2 weeks, because they had no applicances on hand and the landlord didn't want to pay for a new one! 4. You are expected to salt the walkway yourself, and they will not shovel the entrance!(but they leave you a shovel...and salt) 5. The Leasing Office employees are RUDE. After a few months of moving in things started to break. They blamed it on us, the renter, and then never placed the maintenance request!Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
November 24, 2015I just bought a house but lived at Woodwind Gardens Apartments for 4 years. I enjoyed living there and was the largest apartment I ever rented. The community is very friendly, great restaurants and close to entertainment. The staff/maintenance crew are very helpful, take care of issues quickly and act more like friends then employees of the apartment complex. I was so lucky to have lived there.Review from Apartments.com
Love Living Here
October 22, 2015I have lived at Wood Wind Gardens for 7 years and intend to continue to do so for many more years. It is a quiet and pleasant community with good neighbors. The location is convenient to pretty much anywhere I need to go. The setting itself is park like with many trees and green areas. My apartment is spacious and the large balcony that looks onto a court yard is a big bonus. The maintenance people are always helpful and quick to respond to any issues. I have never had any problems with the ...management or office staff and I highly recommend it as a pleasant place to live.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Woodwind Gardens Apt
August 14, 2015Lived in a second floor double bedroom with my gf for a year now. And while the apt itself is nice and the quiet wooded setting is great what really impressed me were the maintenance guys. For weeks the dryer in our building screeched so loud we could hear it from our room. When my gf finally called the maintenance crew and asked why it hadn't been fixed yet they kindly explained that since no one had reported it they didn't know about it. 2 days later it was fixed. When our fridge broke they ...were there in 30 min with a different fridge to use while they fixed ours. They declined FREE BEER!!! good guysRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Wonderful Apartment But No Longer For Me
July 26, 2015I love my 2 bedroom apartment with a beautiful balcony! The grounds are very well maintained with a lovely pool and a park next door. Wood Wind Gardens is located on Rte. 11 where there are many restaurants and stores (just a stone's throw from "Destiny"). Now why is this apartment no longer for me: I will be 72 yrs old next month (NO I am not decrepit) but it does get tough carrying groceries etc. up 9 stairs. Also the washer & dryer are 13 stairs away. Oh Woe Is Me to get old takes its toll!Review from Apartments.com
