Well-scuffed wooden floors mirror the darkened paneling, while earth-toned green and browns complete the comfortable surroundings. A large outdoor patio welcomes four legged friends to join their masters on those dog days of summer, and if you're lucky you might just catch some refreshing mist breezing by from the various cool-down machines lining the block. But forget the ambiance (which can be noisy on the weekends) - here it's all about the beer. With over twenty-five local and imported draughts on tap, ranging from local staple Lone Star to personal fave Harp, there should to be a taste for almost any thirst palate. Various weekly specials bring the pints down as low as $2 per, which means a night on the town before the rent is due is still an achievable task. For non-ale fans, Opal's also offers an impressive array of Single Malt scotch as well as a globe-spanning martini menu.
