When strolling Baltimore's Little Italy, you'll find plenty of pretty little spots to catch a meal and enjoy some gentle, romantic ambiance, but an frugal apartment-ite might be thrown back by some of the prices. One place to try authentic Italian flavors without having to break the bank is Amicci's, one of Baltimore's premiere Italian restaurants, which combines generous, delicious servings with affordable prices and terrific service to create one fantastic evening. Amicci's has a number of delicious ways to start your evening off right, whether you're in the mood for something light, like their caesar salad or fresh mozzarella and tomato, or something bigger, to share, such as their antipasto for two, or their signature Pane Rotundo, an Italian loaf of bread covered in garlic butter, filled with shrimp in a creamy scampi sauce. You can then move on to choose from any number of delicious entrees, but the best lie in the Italian Classic section. This section includes tortellini with peas and prosciutto ham, chicken parmigiana, sausage cacciatore, chicken marsala, penne amicci, rigatoni bolognese, or linguini with meat sauce. They also have an entire secion of their menu devoted solely to vegetarians, with dishes such as their veggie gnocchi, penne primavera, and manicotti. No matter what you choose from their extensive menu, you're sure to walk away with a smile on your face and a full stomach. Want delicious food in Little Italy without breaking the bank?
