Thankfully, there's one place in town where you can take in a bit of Alabama history, while enjoying a delicious meal and some splendid atmosphere at the same time. Cobb Lane Restaurant has been serving satisfied customer since the days of World War II, creating dishes that are authentically Southern, while still being pleasing to almost every appetite. Its fans include big names like famed chef Julia Childs, so you know the taste is sure to be amazing, and its outdoor deck has been voted as the greatest place to eat outdoors by the Birmingham News' Readers' Choice Awards.
