Riding, roping and jumping thoroughbreds isn't as hard to do in the Bronx as you think it would be. If your one of the many Bronx apartment residents interested in riding and have a love for horses you have found your home. Bronx apartment residents interested in riding can take lessons at the Bronx Equestrian Center. If you have some experience or none at all there is still a class for you. Both English and Western riding styles are represented here. There is a special children's program each year as well as a riding evaluation to determine your skill level. Trail rides are available for groups from the local Bronx apartments communities. Horseback riding through the woods is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon out of the Bronx apartment or an entire day exploring the trails. If you don't want to go far, stay in the center and enjoy a pony ride. Party rooms are available to rent and the horses can show up at your nest event as well.
