Delaware Park in Buffalo New York is a very important part of not only the states history but that of the nation. 350 acres are here all covered with meadow, lake or forest. There are several structures on the premises and Buffalo apartment residents have the benefit of a place where they can relax and contemplate the scenic surroundings or eat, drink, shop and have fun. The Delaware Park has been part of the community since the early 1900's and was one of the first three parks built in the city. A playground is nestled in Rumsey Woods for afternoon play dates and the original rose garden has been restored. The original Marcy Casino is also still standing. It has been renovated over the years and stands as a memorial to the life of the Buffalo apartments residents and area citizens throughout the years. Venture out of your comfortable Buffalo apartment long enough to catch one of the parks many events throughout the year. Concerts, exhibitions and shows are held in the casino and all over the park. Hear Shakespeare, symphonies and bird calls all in the same place. Now, that's a good time. Play golf. Hang out at the lodge. Grab a bite at the Lunchbox Café.
