Offering a variety of tours designed for both family excursions as well as romantic date nights, Wendella boats have been providing a new view of Chicago for both tourists and longtime natives for years. Eager to rediscover what makes Chicago a modern marvel of engineering? Try the popular River Architecture Tour, which combines historical factoids with a unique on-the-water perspective of the city's urban landscape. The seasonal Chicago at Sunset tour is a consistent crowd pleaser as well, traveling through Lake Michigan at dusk and culminating with a light show of epic proportions in Monroe Harbor's premium viewpoint of Buckingham Fountain. Fireworks can be viewed each and every summer, although the popular tours tend to fill up quickly so reservations are strongly recommended.
